Does this have sidewalls that can be attached to this? If so, how much are they for a full enclosure?
By Kevin E. on June 4, 2012
Indeed, this canopy can accept sidewalls. We do not currently offer 20' walls. So, you would simply need to order six 10' panels. Please click here
for our 10' walls.

I am looking to buy a tent like this for my department. I was wanting to know if this tent in the picture is one that collapses in one piece and then is bagged. The one we currently have we walk out to open and then extend the legs to raise. Also, I wanted to see the cost to have Hanover Park CERT placed on it.

I am looking at buying a "10x20 Domain Carport" - a brand from Caravan tents. Does it have the same heavy duty specifications as the Caravan Classic with the Professional Top?
By Dawn H. on January 23, 2013
Answer:We no longer carry the Domain Carports by Caravan. Also, since they are two different types of shelters it would be difficult to compare them.

I am looking for a canopy that has a strong base support in case of winds. What do you recommend?
By Dawn H. on February 4, 2013
Answer:The Caravan Classic is a good choice. Please note that it must be either anchored into the ground or have weight bags on the legs. Also please note that as with any pop up style canopy it cannot withstand high winds and would need to be taken down in that case.

I purchased one of your 10x10 canopies about 13 years ago. I believe the carton said it was not designed for rain, as the water would pocket around the sides (Gallons) and I would have to continually dump it. Are these constructed any differently? I noticed that rain gutters are available for these, so I'm assuming the design has changed. Mine came with 4 sidewalls, 3 of which just Velcro to the legs.
By Collin C. on September 23, 2013
Answer:While rain gutters are available for these tents and they are increasingly water resistant, they are still not intended for use in heavy rain. Caravan, among other manufacturers, only offers pop up tents that are intended for mostly fair weather.

Can two people put this tent up? Is it portable? It the bottom of the legs are there holes where you could anchor the legs down?
By Emily - eCanopy Product Specialist on February 11, 2016
Answer:The foot pads do have holes for staking down. Caravan does recommend using at least 2 people to set up the unit as well.
By David from Vista, CA on February 11, 2016
Answer:Yes, two people can put it up, but it takes some coordination. We start on opposite ends, then move to the middle legs. Little by little, on opposite sides. And you want the top in place before you start lifting because it's very hard to adjust it after it goes up. There are stakes/holes in the legs to secure it. It's heavy--like 200lbs--so a roller bag is a must. We learned that the hard way.
By Jim from Milwaukee Wisconsin on February 15, 2016
Answer:Two people can set this canopy up but the construct is solid and on the heavy side than as compared to cheaper constructed ones. Honestly it easier to set up with 3 or 4 people. One person in each corner. It does have anchor holes in the base of each hole. The quality is really nice.

Is this product the same as the domain model?
By Emily - eCanopy Product Specialist on September 19, 2016
Answer:Thank you for your inquiry. The Caravan Domain is made to be used as a carport or outdoor storage unit. The Caravan Classic 10 x 20 is a pop up style canopy and is not intended to be used overnight or as a storage unit like the domain unit. The Caravan Classic is a style of canopy you would see at farmer's markets.

Is this canopy waterproof?
By Darnarius on March 15, 2016
This canopy is "Water Resistant" meaning it will take on water until the point it becomes saturated, then you will get water starting to come through the unit. This unit is not recommended to be used in heavy rain as it will leak and may become damaged. This will not be covered under the manufacturer's warranty.
