Is the fabric of this tent waterproof? If not do you have an inexpensive art fair tent with the four side panels?
By Dawn H. on May 10, 2012
No, the fabric is water resistant, not water proof. The only water proof canopy we have is the Vitabri. You can view it at the following link:

I am looking for a replacement top for this caravan product (Caravan 10 x 10 Aluma Commercial Grade Canopy). Do you carry the replacement tops and if so, for how much? I am looking for the best quality (500 Denier).

Is a tent with a white top and black sidewalls possible?
By Magan B. on October 8, 2012
We do not offer that combination as a package. Black walls are avalable here

I am searching for a tent to exhibit sculpture and have read all the reviews on most 10 x 10 and it seems that there is a repeated topic (will not do well in wind or weather and the sides are cheap and tear). Is there a tent currently being made by you that holds up to the weather we have in Colorado?

I am comparing this canopy with another that has two inch tubular construction.
1. What is the measurement on this aluminum frame?
2. Are there mesh/screen walls available to purchase which fit the Caravan Canopy system?
3. What wind speed will this structure withstand?
By Tommy H. on February 18, 2013
This frame has only 1-1/4" legs. There are indeed mesh walls available for the Caravan Canopies as well as many other accessories.
Unfortunately, there is no wind rating as they have not been officially tested for any wind speed. If you are looking for a more durable model in this price range, we have the Shelter Logic Alumi-Max.
We also carry the Vitabri V3 Waterproof Canopy

By Tommy H. on March 15, 2013
Answer:The frame alone weighs 47 pounds. The top weighs approximately 10 pounds. The entire package deals weighs 67 pounds.

What is the assembled height of this canopy? How about the height of the opening (square) vs. the total tent height? Is there a standard height for these types of 10X10 canopies?
By Emily on October 1, 2013
Answer:Thank you for your inquiry. The assembled peak height is 11 Feet. The head clearance is 7 Feet.
Yes, they might vary by a few inches but they basically have the same dimensions.

Does this actually "pop up" easily like the EZ UP tents?
By Emily on November 25, 2013
Answer:Yes, this is a pop up style frame. You can view how to set up the Caravan by watching the video on that items page you referenced your question with.

What are the differences between the Caravan Display Shade 10 X 10 and the Caravan Aluma Commercial 10 X 10? Our primary use would be at Farm Shows.
By Dawn H. on May 28, 2014
Answer:The only difference is in the material of the frame. The Caravan Displayshade is made of a light weight steel and the Caravan Aluma is made from a commercial grade aluminum. The Aluma, being made from a commercial grade aluminum, provides a sturdier canopy frame.

What is the height of this item? Item # 61009C has a 7' headroom clearance but I couldn't find what this one is.
By Dawn H. - eCanopy Product Specialist on July 7, 2014
Answer:The 10 x 10 Aluma also has a 7' headroom clearance.

How does this Caravan Aluma Commercial grade package differ from the Caravan 10 x 10 Alumashade Canopy Package Deal + 4 Zippered Sidewalls?
By Dawn H. - eCanopy Product Specialist on October 2, 2014
Answer:The Caravan Alumashade is a mid-grade aluminum frame weighing 60 pounds and is available with a white top only. The Caravan Aluma is a commercial grade aluminum frame. Because of the manufacturing process, you get a much stronger frame with a lesser weight of 49 pounds. The Aluma also offers a variety of top colors.

3 years ago I purchased an ezup tent with 4 sidewalls that velcro. Although nice, after repeated show as a vendor a leg broke and the side walls ripped along the zippers. I am searching for a more heavy duty tent that will withstand my 33+ shows a year schedule. Can you recommend anything?

Does the fourth sidewall have a zipper?
By Brennan W. - eCanopy Product Specialist on June 7, 2016
Answer:The fourth sidewall is indeed zippered.
By Rob from MT on June 17, 2016
We are interested in a shelter where we can interchange the sidewall between fabric and mesh. It doesn't have to necessarily be this model, but we are looking for a 10 x 10 structure with interchangeable sidewalls. Do you have something like this?
By Emily - eCanopy Product Specialist on June 17, 2016
Thank you for your inquiry. The Caravan Aluma package deal is a great canopy and has many accessory walls to choose from. You can use the link below to view a mesh wall pack of four that you can use with this Caravan canopy.
By Gail from North Branch, MN on June 17, 2016
Answer:It is overwhelming, isn't it? I picked this model because of the sidewalls, but have yet to use them. I believe I saw there were mesh sidewalls available, but I would simply call the eCanopy helpline to make sure. Having mesh would help airflow and be another option for hanging products. Let me know what you find out!
