I'm comparing this with other canopies by water resistant and I was looking at denier. Can you tell me what denier this E-Z UP canopy is?
By Kelsey C. - eCanopy Product Specialist on August 22, 2016
Answer:The top is a 600 denier 100% polyester fabric and the walls are a light weight fabric, which is basically 150 denier, and is water and flame resistant polyethylene material.
By David from WI on August 22, 2016
Answer:Denier refers to the density of the weave of a piece of fabric . These sides are fairly thin but I used them at a art fair this weekend and they worked very well. Canopy went up quickly but not as quickly as they say and the tent kept the rain out and my work dry.

For sidewall attachment, what is the difference between Velcro strips and Velcro loops? Some answers about this product state the attachment is by Velcro strips and some state it is by Velcro loops. Which is correct if there's a difference?
By Emily - eCanopy Product Specialist on February 22, 2016
Answer:We do apologize for the confusion with the terminology but the walls do indeed have Velcro straps that will loop over the frame and hang.
By Kelley from Vermont on February 23, 2016
Answer:We just received this product and have not opened it yet. However, the term Velcro Strip and Velcro Loop are generally used interchangeably. "Loop" refers to the stiffer side (as opposed to the fuzzy side) of a Velcro strip. Velcro itself is a brand name, but this product is also referred to as "hook and loop" strips.
Hope this helps - Kelley

Can this tent be put up and taken down easily by one person?
By Collin C. on April 4, 2016
Answer:The initial expansion of the tent frame can be a bit of a challenge with one person, but once expanded the first foot or so, the setup is relatively easy. Expansion is made easier if you can anchor one leg and then pull outward on the opposite diagonal leg.

I have a question about the fabric used for the roof and sidewalls. Is this more similar to the nylon used for tents, such as camping tents, and much less like the multiple-layer polyethylene tarps used on many canopies? Does this fabric actually look like fabric?
By Darnarius on March 18, 2016
Answer:This canopy comes with an Upgraded Commercial Grade Polyester Fabric Top. The 4 sidewalls are made of Dura-Lon fabric. The fabric would be more similar to a tent than a tarp.
By Maureen from CA on June 4, 2016
Does each top sides of every sidewall have velcro strips on them, making it possible for each sidewall to attach itself to the side Velcro's on the canopy, making it easy for two sidewalls to be joined and zipped together at each side of the canopy.
By Emily - eCanopy Product Specialist on June 6, 2016
Answer:Thank you for your inquiry. The side walls can be configured any way you need to set up your canopy. They all attach with velcro and will zip up together to completely enclose the unit.
By Robert from Kingston, OK on June 6, 2016
Answer:Ordered this canopy to use for US Coast Guard Auxiliary events. yes you can use one, two, or three sides There is three Velcro strips to each panel. They secure very tight. This is a great canopy!
By Jerry from Dickson, TN on June 7, 2016
Answer:Each side wall has 3 sets of Velcro (hook and loop strips) on each side that attach to the vertical tube to make it easier to zip side walls together. TIP: Attach side wall with zipper slide first and then attach other side above it. Reason is it makes it much easier to get zipper started.
Side wall has a inside and a out side make sure attached correctly.

Is this the top of the line 10 x 10 produced by EZ-UP and how water tight is the top?
By Will M. - eCanopy Product Specialist on August 9, 2016
While this is not considered the top of the line for E-Z Up products and we are able to provide other options not currently shown on our site, most all 10' x 10' popup tents will only have a water-resistant top that will not hold up to the elements. Our best option will by far be the Vitabri V3 10 x 10 Aluminum Pop Up Waterproof Canopy.

What is the difference between Denier fabric and Dura-Lon fabric. I am comparing the Caravan package and the EZ-Up package. I will be using the canopy for farmer's markets.
By Darnarius on February 21, 2017
Answer:The Caravan Canopies use polyester fabric. It is graded in Denier (500 Denier). With the EZ Up Canopies, the top is a 600 denier 100% polyester fabric and the walls are a light weight fabric (Dura-Lon), which is basically 150 denier, and is water and flame-resistant polyethylene material.
By Marianne from CA on April 4, 2017
Is the newer model made of a heavier material? One negative about this one is that the walls are thin and act like a sail, so I'm concerned. Is there a more current E-Z UP model for this canopy? Ease of set up and tear down is a concern of mine. Is it available with or without windows? Thank you.
By Darnarius on April 4, 2017
Answer:The sidewalls will be made of the same thin Poly Taft material. You may check with E-Z Up directly as they may offer heavier walls to go with this unit.

So the "maximum clearance" of 6'10" represents the height from the ground to bottom of the roof frame? As in, if I were to buy gridwalls, they couldn't be any higher than that height, right? Thank you.
By Tyler M. - eCanopy Product Specialist on April 3, 2017
Answer:This is correct, the 6'10" measurement is to the bottom of the valance.
By Cole from Pittsburgh, VA on August 13, 2017
