How long does it take to set up the Mt. Greylock tent? Is it waterproof?
This tent requires 2 people for setup. Typical setup time is 15 to 25 minutes for beginners. It is water resistant with heavy coating. It should not retain water. The manufacturer highly recommends sealing the seams. This item also has a heavy tarp floor.

Mt. Greylock 2-Room Cabin Camping Tent - 15 X 10

Seems Durable

This tent has a lot of parts and takes a while to set up if doing it alone. You definitely need a helper when trying to attach the fly. It has three doors and two separated sleeping compartments. The materials seem to be durable. It should fair well in windy weather due to all of the stakes provided.

Four-Star Rating Tent; Great in Wind and Rain

I gave this tent a four-star rating, only because it could use awning over one of the doors to provide more shade from the sun or shelter from the rain. And it could use a hanger in the ceiling on both sides of the divider for a lamp. But the size of it and the quality and strength of this tent is great in rain and wind. After using it several times, it is still going strong. Our last camping trip, we had heavy rain for several hours. We didnÔÇÖt bother sealing any of the seams and had no problems in that area other than where the window ties were attached. It is a spacious tent and accommodates cots and room for four people plus enough space to sit on one side to eat.
