The doors to this tent are on the ends.

Actually, I have this tent. There are two doors, they are in opposite corners on the front and on the back. In the photo the screen with the red border is the door. The red border covers over the zipper Having one on both sides is very handy.

I like this tent but want to make sure I can stand up fully and walk around like a small house. I'm 5'9 and my spouse is 6 ft. Will that work?

The center height is a little over 7 feet so the tent should allow you both plenty of standing room.

Give this tent a 5 star rating.

My husband and I bought this tent about 16 years ago. We used it when we wanted to go camping and there was no place for the class A or C. I enjoy camping no matter if it is a bedroll under the stars, a tent or a camper. If you purchase this tent, you will enjoy every minute of it.

Love it!

I have had this tent for over 5 years and it's is incredibly spacious and durable. I only use it once a year, but it's for a 9 day stretch on a very windy lake. I like the fact that it's very tall and I can walk around without ducking or slouching, I am 5'8". The divider is great because I can use one half as my "mud room" and the other as the bedroom with my cot and accouterments. That is very helpful when the thunderstorms hit!. I would buy this tent again and again, but so far it's held up to all the weather the lake throws at me. Also I can erect it 99% by myself, just need a helper when lifting the center poles.

Pros

tall durable lots of room easy to put up

Cons

Only one, be careful when zipping the doors, the red zipper cover tends to want to be eaten by your zipper. But easy to avoid.

Plenty of Room, Great Buy

I definitely spent time deciding on this tent. After looking at multiple different models from several manufacturers, my wife and I decided on the Mt. Barren. One of the big reasons we got this tent was for the size (our family goes camping with two adults, two kids, and two dogs), and in that area it definitely delivers. With all of our stuff and us inside we still had plenty of room. The tent was very sturdy (we have used it five different times), and that is including a trip we took with winds up to 50 mph. Obviously, since the tent is so large, finding an area with a big enough level space is difficult, but plan ahead and it should be fine. Make sure that you set it up once before going camping (I also recommend labeling all the parts since the directions are a bit unclear) and it should be fairly easy to set up with a couple of people. Definitely a good buy.

Great Deal

The tent seems really great overall. I have only had one issue so far and that happened the first time that I set the tent up. It seems that one of the poles might have been damaged when they were first being shipped, but the manufacturer replaced them promptly. The poles are very sturdy (more so than my experience with other tents) and so I think that the weight of the tent might have put to much force on an existing crack. With a proper light we were able to illuminate half of the tent, but it would be nice if they designed the tent with more places to hang things on inside. The great price and ample space that this tent provides would definitely convince me to recommend to other people.

Huge Tent, Good Quality

If you're looking for a huge tent that's decent quality and at a good price, I would recommend this tent to you. Some people might see the size as a negative, but since we camp with our kids, friends, and sometimes our pets, we need one this size. Make sure when you're planning your trip that you have access to a large, flat campsite or this won't work well for you. It measures over 200 square feet inside. I would also say that you should practice setting it up a couple of times before you go because the directions aren't as helpful as they could be. We ended up labeling the poles, and that helped a lot. We've survived some pretty wild weather in this tent--wind and rain and cold nights--and have crammed it with people and sleeping bags and air mattresses, and we've never been disappointed with it. Good quality construction. So I would say that if you're looking for a very large tent that's good quality at a good price, you won't be disappointed.

Works Great

If I had one thing to say about this tent it would be go for it. It is a great tent for a great price. Plenty of room for whatever you need to put inside, even if you use cots when camping like we do. If you camp in a place with a lot of insects, this tent has plenty of room inside to still enjoy camping. There is a divider in the middle that can be zipped up or put down, and it was nice to unzip and all enjoy time together. Make sure that you set it up once or twice before you actually go camping because it will be easier to set up once you know what you are doing. (Also, after a few tries we figured out that the longest pole should be above the other poles when it is time to raise the tent. The directions can be kind of vague in a couple of places.)
