Sometimes you have different groups of things you want to store and keep away from the elements. But having a solid color tarp means any time you need a certain box or item you have to untie the tarp to search. This is not the case with PTM's Heavy Duty Clear Poly Tarp. It is made with an inner weave that is transparent. This clear tarp is classified as heavy-duty due to its dense 12x14 mesh (weave) count and 12mil thickness, 6oz. per sq. yard (1200 Denier) weight. The heavy-duty polyethylene is laminated and treated for waterproofing, rot-proofing and UV-protection. These are great for garden nurseries and special evening events.
Please Note: PTM brand tarps only offer a warranty against manufacturing defects found within 5 days after delivery. Any damage to or failure of the product while in use is not covered by the manufacturer's warranty. For tarps offering a manufacturer's warranty, please view tarps available from our other manufacturers.
Also Note: Finished sewn size will be 4-6 inches shorter than original cut size of 8' x 10'
Also Note: These tarps must be attached with elastic bungees to meet warranty standards.

Great construction & fit for use
I purchased this tarp to be used as a wind screen for smoking area.
The construction of the tarp was very good. Spacing of the grommets were just right for my application.
The material is very translucent but short of transparent (except for close viewing).
Reinforcement string adds nice strength to the overall tarp construction.
The absolute only drawback I can think of is shipping cost. While price for this tarp was reasonable, shipping cost brought the order total higher than I liked.
Even factoring in the shipping charges, the overall cost of this tarp was less than thicker clear vinyl sheeting of similar dimensions.

Light weight for tarp strength.
