I have an etched bathroom window that has a 49" wide outside frame. Will this Sunsational 48" wide awning cover this frame or will I need a special width awning?
By Emily - eCanopy Product Specialist on April 8, 2015
Please use the link below to view an awning that will fit your window. The 4 foot awning is too short for the width of your window.
By Janet from TX on April 9, 2015
Answer:I just put up my 4-ft awning for the season (it was new last season). I measured the top again, and the finished width is between 47.5" and 48". So a 49" frame might show a little on the sides.

Can you please tell me what the inside dimensions are for your 4 foot traditional awning? Our window is a garden window that is 45 1/2 inches wide and we want to be sure that it will fit over the window.
By Will M. - eCanopy Product Specialist on July 5, 2016
Answer:Per the manufacturer, the inside width is 47 1/2" and your 45 1/2" window would be too large. You need to measure 4 1/2" more than your window or door for mounting purposes, meaning you will need an awning measuring at least 50".

Are you able to dye this fabric with Rit liquid dye?
By Kelsey C. - eCanopy Product Specialist on March 16, 2016
Answer:Traditional Rit dye will color 100% cotton, 100% wool, 50% wool/ 50% acrylic blends and cotton/rayon/nylon blends. The Sunsational awnings use a "marine grade" waterproof treated canvas which cannot be dyed effectively with this product.
