Does this item need to be weighted down with weight bags or will the anchors be enough to support this structure on breezy days?
By Tommy H. on March 29, 2012
Answer:Weight bags are primarily used for Pop-Up style or other lightweight canopies being erected on a hard surface such as asphalt and are not required for this product in addition to stakes.

Can I use this without the white top? I am looking to use this as a garden enclosure and would want the rain to be able to come through but I need the screening on top to keep out grasshoppers. Thank you.
By Dawn H. on January 25, 2013
Answer:You could use it without the top but we do not currently carry a screen top for it. It would be something you would have to fashion yourself and we could not offer any advice on that use.

Does this canopy need to be taken down after each use, or can it be left erected for the summer?
By Tommy H. on February 18, 2013
Answer:While it is waterproof and UV treated, it is not designed to be left up all summer. It may take damage from inclement weather and tree debris more easily than a permanent shelter.

Is this tent mosquito proof? What is the height of the poles? Do we need to use a ladder to put the roof on? Are there sides available to roll down over the screen to shelter us from the wind?
By Dawn H. on February 13, 2014
Answer:While the ShelterLogic 10 x 20 Max AP 8 Leg Canopy Shelter With Screen Kit cannot be considered completely mosquito proof, it will greatly reduce the number of mosquitoes able to enter the shelter. There is always the chance some will follow you in as you enter and exit the shelter.
The height of the poles at the side are 6'-3" tall and you will need a ladder to complete installation of the roof. Please note the manufacturer suggest you have at least 2 people be available to assemble the shelter.
At this time, there are no options available for roll down doors to be added to the unit.
