How do the doors operate?

I want to store my new Buick LaCrosse for the winter in New Bedford (near Cape Cod ) while I am gone for the winter in Florida. Will the garage withstand the New England weather for more than two years? Should I plan to disassemble the garage and store it away in the summer to prolong the life?
By Dawn H. on October 8, 2013
Answer:ShelterLogic Shelters offer storage and protection from damage caused by sun, light rain, tree sap, animal - bird excrement and light snow. The manufacturer recommends that you immediately remove any accumulated snow or ice from the roof structure with a broom, mop or other soft-sided instrument. It is unnecessary to disassemble this product during the summer season.

I'm interested in purchasing a portable garage. I live in New England and was wondering how the garages hold up in cold & snow. A two foot snow fall is not uncommon as well as temperatures in the single digits and below zero. Also, how long of a life can I expect from the garage?
By Kevin E. on October 21, 2013
Most of our shelters do not carry a snow load rating. However, they are designed to withstand even the harshest of climates. Most of these units feature a 10 year life expectancy. We do have some models that feature a specific snow load rating. Our ShelterTube
is one of these shelters. Unfortunately, though, this unit is currently out of stock until the first of the year.

This item is not rated to withstand heavy snow or wind loads on the frame. The snow load rated version can be found here
These shelters can typically be assembled within an hour with two or more people assembling them.
