I have a steel ocean container 8 x 20 x 8' 6". I keep my snowmobiles in it and would like to have a canopy in front so that in the wintertime (in Park City, Utah) I can open the doors to the container when there is like 6' of snow on the ground.
What is the best style canopy for heavy snow and what is the smallest size that would cover the entrance to the steel storage container?

Likely, the best product for your needs will be a run-in shelter, such as this item
. The minimal overhang of the canvas would allow you to place the back of the shelter over the opening of the container, whereas many of the enclosed end shelters would not.
It is also long enough that snow should not be able to accumulate against the front of the container, unless the wind is blowing directly into the front.

I see the 12x24x10 portable garage comes with 6 anchors; How many additional anchors are recommended?
By Kathy N. on August 27, 2013
Answer:The manufacturer does send the proper number of anchors to hold the portable garage securely based on size of the structure.

I need to get the wind design loads of the shelterloginc 12x24x10 so I can submit to the county for permitting. Where can I find this?
By Dawn H. - eCanopy Product Specialist on October 7, 2014
Answer:This item does not have a wind rating. Per Shelter Logic "Because all of our products are not engineered buildings they CAN NOT be wind rated. Anchoring the shelter securely is critical to wind resistance. If extremely high winds or storms are predicted the structure can be dismantled and stored. However we do offer custom Pre Engineered Structures that carry a wind rating when properly anchored."

I will be getting a small motorhome measuring 7' wide by 10' tall by 25' long. I do like this ShelterLogic 12 x 24 x 10 round portable garage canopy but it's a little too big. What can you recommend that will fit this vehicle?

Is that 10' high or wide?
By Brennan W. - eCanopy Product Specialist on August 8, 2016
Answer:10' is a reference to the peak height of the shelter.
