My area for this shelter is exactly 12 foot 6 inches wide and 24 foot 6 inches long. Will this 12 x 24 x 10 round portable garage canopy fit this area?
By Dawn H. on June 25, 2012
Answer:
That would not leave you much room for maneuvering. We would suggest you go with something slightly smaller such as the item found at the link below:
I have a steel ocean container 8 x 20 x 8' 6". I keep my snowmobiles in it and would like to have a canopy in front so that in the wintertime (in Park City, Utah) I can open the doors to the container when there is like 6' of snow on the ground.
What is the best style canopy for heavy snow and what is the smallest size that would cover the entrance to the steel storage container?
By Collin C. on August 21, 2012
Answer:
Likely, the best product for your needs will be a run-in shelter, such as this item. The minimal overhang of the canvas would allow you to place the back of the shelter over the opening of the container, whereas many of the enclosed end shelters would not.
It is also long enough that snow should not be able to accumulate against the front of the container, unless the wind is blowing directly into the front.
