I am looking for recommendation for a good sturdy tent. I was looking at these two options: eCanopy Item Number: GGT-GT004 and eCanopy Item Number: UCC-UC-3P20W.
Please tell me which is more sturdy and if it has air vent in the canopy to let wind through? Thank you.
By Chaz on May 1, 2017
Answer:The UCC-UC-3P20W is the better canopy option for you because the frame consists of steel and aluminum. The cover is also a 300 denier vs. the 150 denier that the Gigatent offers.

What is the occupant Capacity for the 10x10 and 10x20? Is the tent flame resistant?
By Emily on November 6, 2013
Answer:The Undercover 10 x 20 is CPAI-84 Flame Certified and NFPA-701 Flame Certified.
The occupancy depends on if you plan to sit or have people stand around. If you sit people, it will depend on how much of a isle you make as well as a center isle. The total sq ft of the area is 200'. Please let us know if you have any further questions.

Do you recommend that this item be tied down permanently by using lag screws through the leg pads? Will it hold up under the hot Southern California sun?
By Emily on January 22, 2014
This is not manufactured to be used as a permanent structure. There is not a wind rating on this unit. You would need to look at our Premiere Tents. I have a link below that you can view one of these units.

Can you purchase sidewalls for this model? I do not see that they are available, but maybe I'm not looking in the right place on your website.
By Dawn H. - eCanopy Product Specialist on August 22, 2014
Undercover does not offer 20 foot side walls. You would need to connect two 10 foot side walls (they zipper together at the edges) to the enclosed 20 foot sides. They are available in 4 packs.
Each 4 pack will have 3 solid side walls and one wall with a zipper in the middle.

Is this Undercover 10 x 20 Hybrid canopy top vented? I can't tell by the picture and the description doesn't say?
By eCanopy Product Specialist on June 8, 2015
Answer:This Canopy does indeed have vents at the top.
By Andy from Redford, MI on May 27, 2015
Answer:Yes, it has vents at the top.
By Dave from Torrington, CT on May 27, 2015
Answer:Yes. There is a vent on each end. Make sure you open it before you set up.
By David from Clute, TX on May 27, 2015
Answer:The top is vented on both ends and the vents are adjustable to allow as much air to flow through as you would like. We used our canopy at my daughters beach wedding this past month. Had a rain shower come through just before the wedding with winds around twenty to twenty-five mph, the canopy did just find. Of course we had it anchored down with 5 gallon buckets of water at each leg support so there were no problems with it trying to lift off. Very good buy, highly recommend.
By Tammy from Turners Fall, MA on May 27, 2015
Answer:Yes, it has a couple vents on the top

Answer:Thank you for your inquiry. The Undercover 10x20 Hybird does not come with screens.
By Tammy from Turners Falls, MA on September 30, 2015
Answer:It does not come with a screen. I own a rental business and I am very happy with my 10 x 20 popup. It is a nice tent for the price.
By Amy from Des Moines, IA on September 30, 2015
Answer:The canopy that we received did not come with a screen. It is, however, a very nice product.
By Bob from VA on September 30, 2015
Answer:It only comes with the top. Very well made unit. Wind has an increased effect on the large top, so have something to tie it down with.
By Butch from NJ on September 30, 2015
Answer:The screen is separate. The tent itself is great. Mine held up to heavy winds when outer tents at the party did not do so well.
By Ben from Denver, CO on July 4, 2016
I'm wondering how the canopy is attached to the support structure: is it attached with velcro loops on the cross supports, etc..or is it only attached at the corners? And, what about tie downs for the corners for anchoring, does it have any?
By Will M. - eCanopy Product Specialist on July 5, 2016
The top is attached at each corner via velcro and 4 "snap tight" attachments as described in the installation manual
and the canopy will arrive with 4 spike anchors for use at each foot pad. The tent will not arrive with any rope for anchoring from loops at each corner of the top, but it is recommended to anchor from the top trusses at each corner if you plan to anchor the tent in this fashion.

How well does it hold up in bad weather (wind or rain)? And, can you have an outdoor heater under it?
By Darnarius on January 9, 2017
Answer:Any pop-up style canopy is not recommended to be left up in high wind or heavy rain situations, due to the fact that they may become damaged and, unfortunately, the manufacturer does not cover weather related damages.
Also, we can not recommend placing a heater under or near any of the canopies.
By Robin from FL on January 18, 2017
Are the legs straight up and down or angled?
By Darnarius on January 18, 2017

By Jason from CA on June 21, 2017
Is it okay for me to rent these to other people, for party rentals?
By Will M. - eCanopy Product Specialist on June 21, 2017
Normally, popup style tents like this one are for personal use. They are frequently used for small businesses for craft shows, etc., but not commonly purchased in order to rent to a 3rd party where they will not be handled with extra care to avoid damaging the frame. For example, no popup-style tent should be left erected in inclement weather and a 3rd party may not know that these are not waterproof and water pooling in the top may cause the truss system to buckle or the top to start leaking at the seams. In this case, the 3rd party customer would not be too happy and the warranty would be void.
A much better choice would be a frame or pole tent found here
