Snug
First, a little about myself. I’m just over five feet tall, and I tell people that even though I have a “warm heart,” I’m “cold natured.” By which I mean I tend to be cold even when other people are warm. So, having told you that, I’ll now tell you about this sleeping bag. I found it quite snug and cozy for someone of my height. If you’re taller than me, you may want to consider ordering the longer version. Also, in my opinion the bag should not be rated for temperatures as cold as zero degrees Fahrenheit. I’ve used it on three trips, and as long as the night-time temps stayed from above freezing to around 50, it was great—nice and snug! I’d also recommend that you get a sleeping pad to put under it—that will help keep you warmer too. Pros: The “stuffable” pillow is great—I stuffed it with my down-filled jacket and had a great night’s sleep. The bag also really keeps out the wind. Cons: Too heavy to carry on long camping trips (although it’s not bad at all for walk-in sites). Kind of hard to get it back into the sack when you’re packing up. But I like this bag a lot and would recommend it.
