ShelterLogic built their new line of snow load-rated steel-frame portable shelters in keeping with the company's credo: "Maximum features, maximum value." In fact, these ShelterTube steel frame shelters are packed with features to help it stand up to severe weather, including a 15-gauge, powder coated steel frame with six supporting ribs for enhanced strength and weight resistance. The cover is made from 9-ounce triple-layer ripstop polyethylene material that secures snare drum-tight to the frame.
Under proper circumstances, these shelters can resist 80 mph winds and 43 psf of ground/snow cover (see below and product manual for more information.) This portable shelter is also available with a green cover.
* Please Note: Snow and wind load measurements are for reference purposes only. Loads are calculated using combined snow and wind load provisions in accordance with ASCE 7-05 using models that received secure anchoring. For effective snow and load capacity, all units should meet full compliance with local building codes.
Does the canopy let in natural light to work in the daytime with the doors closed, and without the use of artificial light?
Since the cover is made from 9-ounce triple-layer ripstop polyethylene material, I do not think it will allow enough natural light inside with the doors closed for your needs. You would need artificial light if you are planning on using this as a work space.
