Can you display/ decorate the stakes? Do you have any colors besides white? Thank you. I need to make this work into an artsy atmosphere. I think I want a gypsy like look.

These stakes will most likely be too deep to decorate for an art show. This canopy also only comes in white. You can get a colorful top (sidewalls would still be white): here.

I previously bought this tent from you and due to horrific weather conditions this weekend, a couple of my trusses broke. I will be replacing the tent now, but do not need sidewalls, as they are still in good condition. Is this the same tent as your UCC-UC-3P10W that does not have sidewalls. Does it have velcro on the tent to attach existing sidewalls? Next month when I have time, I will be replacing the trusses that broke so I can have two tents. I found replacement parts online, but need to know the part number for the trusses, as I've found several.

Do you have to take the fabric off this Undercover 10 x 10 Commercial canopy when taking it up and down?
    7 Answers
Thank you for your inquiry. The manufacturer states to remove the top to avoid the material being damaged or pinched if closed up in the folding parts of the frame. You can keep it on, but it is advised to remove it to help with longevity or to avoid damage.
Submitted by: Emily - eCanopy Product Specialist on June 24, 2015
Nope, similar to bag chairs, you just lower the tent, walk the legs into the center, and the canopy itself, folds into itself, just like the chairs do, then easily went into the rolling bag that it comes with. I did fold up the sidewalls and placed inside the outer pocket for storage though. Hope that helps! I had a great event Saturday with this tent!
Submitted by: Sherrie on June 24, 2015 from Tulsa, OK
No, you don't have to take the top off. Although removing it likely would preserve the fabric longer. You do have to take the side panels off.
Submitted by: Brad on June 24, 2015 from Charlotte, NC
No, the reason would be if it was wet and you wanted to dry fabric before storing
Submitted by: Mike on June 24, 2015 from Orrstown, PA
The canopy top can stay on the frame when taking down and storing in the carry bag. Sidewalls need to be removed though.

Yes and the sidewalls are the best I have purchased. The Velcro strips inside the walls give a nice tight fit. The sidewalls work better if the legs are at their highest height.

Yes, it does! The walls have velcro along the top edge and you attach that to the canopy. It also has zippers on each corner to attach the walls together. Add bonus...the walls can be rolled up and secured with a loop/button that is on the canopy.

It is water resistant, but not water proof. The only actually water proof canopy we have is the Vitabri canopy. It also only comes in white.
Submitted by: Dawn H. - eCanopy Product Specialist on April 6, 2015
This canopy is the easiest setup I have ever had. I use it to cover wood furniture that I am refinishing. It works really well for this. The canopy must be anchored down to prevent the wind from picking it up. Not sure about the availability of other colors. My opinion is that you will be well served with this canopy.
Submitted by: Tom on April 6, 2015 from Norfolk, VA
It is not guaranteed waterproof, but we had some rain and it did not leak. I would not recommend any other color than white for a festival. 1) White allows more light inside as darker colors tend to make the whole tent darker. 2) When you go to the festival you will notice that everyone else has white. We were very happy with this canopy and would recommend it. It is better built than competitors' tents.

As for colors, I am not sure. The only experience I've had with water resistance is a light rain and wind which came overnight. In the morning when I returned, the contents of my tent were "high and dry." No problems.

We would recommend that you purchase and use weight bags around the legs when using the canopy on sand or at the beach.
Submitted by: Dawn H. - eCanopy Product Specialist on July 14, 2014
I used the stakes both times that I used my canopy. I also purchased separately a set of 4 bags that Velcro around the poles. The bags have a zippered top and you can fill them with up to 40 # of pea gravel. The stakes that come with the unit are quite sturdy, but if you are in a lot of wind, I would suggest the bags.
Submitted by: Kelli on July 14, 2014 from Bay City, MI
The canopy anchors supplied would not be considered sand or beach anchors in that they are not long enough if the canopy is set up in loose sand. Available at the big box hardware stores (i.e.,Lowe's, Home Depot) are long nails, long steel or aluminum rods that could be used to anchor the canopy provided they reach compacted or wet sand.

Submitted by: Denisse on June 3, 2014 from Tampa, Florida
It seems to be the best of both worlds. We just purchased this Canopy and set it up for the first time last weekend. The walls are light-weight like a tarp, but have a thickness and finish to them, more like a canvas. It was very easy to attach them and the tent stayed cool even with direct sunlight beating down on it. Thankfully it didn't rain, but the sides are supposed to be waterproof. You need to treat the zipper seams though with a spray that is recommended in the instructions.
Submitted by: Bernie on June 3, 2014 from PA
It is heavier than plastic but not as stiff as a tarp. I love this and can't wait to use this at summer sales.
Submitted by: Dawn on June 3, 2014 from Rochester, Minnesota
The sidewalls are a pretty decent grade plastic tarp like material. The tent is a very nice tent, quality made, and very sturdy compared to your standard pop up tent. We set up where the winds are pretty high, and it withstands it well. The price can't be beat! I shopped and priced and read reviews for a while before I bought this one, and I'm very glad I did.

While rain will fall off for the most part, it can indeed start to pool and collapse the frame. We do not recommend using this canopy if you expect it to rain. It is a shade canopy.

I could not be any happier
This by far worth the extra money over a cheap canopy. Yes it is heavier but that is due to the better design and materials. Everything was super smooth. Even with the sides up on 3 sides and no sand bags attached it didnt move when other lightweight canopies around me were shaking.

ProsNo more pinched fingers when adjusting poles. Larger feeling due to high pitched roof. Ease of use
ConsZipper on bag could be moved up to the next size to make it feel stronger.

    Worked well
I replaced a canopy with this one. Although it can be set up by oneself, I had troubles. I just don't have the strength and umph to do it. But it is easily put up with 2 people. Taking it down by myself was no problem. It is heavier then my last canopy and longer when folded up and in case. I have a Grand Jeep Cherokee and it fit fine. But if I had a regular car, it probably wouldn't fit. The case with wheels is nice and the outside pockets for storage is nice too. I love the velcro sides and zippered corners. I found out it is easier to zip the corners before securing the legs. The first show I used it for, the weather was cold. It was nice to be able to roll up one side, but it is just low enough when rolled up that people had to stoop a bit to enter the tent. I remedied that by using very short bungee cords around the roll up straps and secured it to the accordion frame. All and all I am pleased with the canopy.

    Great Design and Construction
I purchased this canopy for use as a vendor at craft fairs. It is great quality and will last for many years to come.
ProsGreat construction and quality. With two people, it is easy to put up and take down. Withstood high winds with ease. Love that the sides come with it and they are easy to Velcro into place.
ConsAs an average-sized female, I personally require the assistance of another person to put up the canopy.

    Great Tent
This is a great tent and has all the features we wanted. We bought four tents in total, two for us and two for my brother in law. We are going to be doing shows together and wanted easy set up, side walls, and air vents. This was the perfect answer for us and everything arrived in a timely manner in perfect shape. They also called to make sure I had not made a mistake. When I ordered four tents, I felt they went the extra mile to make sure it all was alright. I would do business with them anytime I need items they have.

I have not used it yet but I opened and assembled it and I like the ease of putting up the walls...much faster than my easy up. And the quality of the fabric is so much better...I am very impressed with the center dial to raise and tighten Also the legs are easier to lift....but they do not have adjustments for different heights, if you are on un-level ground.
By Erika from Marquette on December 13, 2016
    Pretty good
The tent was fine except the Velcro for the walls isn't lined up correctly with the Velcro on the top. We were unable to zip the corners. Can tie them but might not be good enough if there's a lot of rain and wind.

Greatly appreciate the roll-up walls feature with the small loops and bobs to hold-was awesome, and also the velcro tapes along the top of walls/canopy edge.

    Easy Peasy!
It is just like the video shows. i did a dry run with just the frame and then did a setup with the canopy attached. I'm a 61 YO woman and this is the tent for me! One person can set it up with no problems. The vents keep it so much cooler too!

The only problem I had was,in step two of setting up the canopy it doesn't tell you to extend the legs up first. It tells you to lift frame up . Then to go inside and push up center pole. But if you look at the instructions for set up of two people it tells you to extend legs up. Other than that the canopy is great I'am looking forward to many years of easy set up with this unit. The canopy is well built and very compact love the fact that I can store side walls inside of case. Someone put a lot of thought in making this canopy. Very nice thank you Undercover.

Just what I was hoping for!
The canopy is just as described...easy to set up, easy to take down. The cover/carrying bag is made well, love the storage pockets. My only complaint is that it is "tippy" when pulling it, and too heavy to carry. Also, it is too long for my car, but that is not a fault in the product.
Proseasy set up, can be done by one person. Two is better. Attractive.
ConsIn the storage case it is too long for the trunk or back seat of my sedan; tips over when pulling it.

I have an Undercover canopy that I have used for 3 years now. Since it has always been good I decided to get another. The new one is even better than the old one. I love that they beefed up the legs and improved the side attachments from a snap to a clip. Overall a great buy.

    Must Have for Vendors Especially
I do a lot of vendor fairs, having to set up and tear down a pop up shop Saturday and Sunday during much the of the year. I am only five feet tall and I'm not very strong. The other canopies I have are really heavy and hard to carry, put up, and take down. This one is do practically by myself. My only issue is that I'm short so Its hard to get it fully extended. But that's really my fault that I am having a hard time and I know how to fix the problem in how I'm setting it up. I am able to take this down and put it in the car without any help. I have three other canopies and I will be replacing all of them with this canopy.

    Excellent canopy and price.
Been doing outdoor shows for more than 30 years. Just bought my first Undercover Commercial canopy. LOVE it. So much easier to set up and break down. Though I still use my other canopy too, this is a vast improvement in ease of set-up. Very sturdy. I'm a 71-year-old photographer, so ease of set-up and break-down and sturdiness are of prime importance to me.
ProsVery little bending over required. Very easy to set up and very stable.
ConsHad to adapt my awning from other canopy to this one. Works okay, but an awning designed for this one would be a big plus.

    Excellent & Sturdy Canopy!
Purchased this canopy for vendor events with my business. It went up easily, though I did need help due to my arthritis. The side flaps were a life saver to protect me from the sun. I was one of only a few, who wasn't chasing down my tent and belongings when the breeze kicked up. Also, much cooler than others and protected me from sunburn.
ProsEasy up, sturdy, cool, and comfortable.
ConsNeeded help, setting up and packing up, mostly due to my own strength issues. Wheels on bag help, but found that since I'm not real tall, that the bag kept flipping, as I was wheeling to position. Wish there'd been an option to upgrade to commercial/heavy duty case at a discount at the time of purchase, rather than having to buy the upgraded case separately - I'll have no need for the original case, if I buy the other.

I'm using my new canopy for the first time this weekend at an art festival in Georgia. I'm very please! I'm a veteran of festivals and have had other easy type pop up canopies and I really like this one! It seems sturdier than some and it is definitely cooler!! All my customers are remarking on it!! The BEST canopy we've had yet!!
We just purchased our 2nd Undercover Canopy. The first one we had lasted us 2 years. Keep in mind that we live in the PNW & the weather here can be brutal at times (wind & rain) & since we use it year round for privacy over our hot tub, it's exposed to the elements 365 days a year. We do take it down when the wind get's too crazy as it's not made to withstand too much wind. I'd also like to add that they've improved the design since we purchased our last one. The side walls are MUCH nicer & the material matches the canopy now. We've tried other models from other manufacturers & they don't measure up. Yes, you can find less expensive canopies from other companies, but remember, you get what you pay for. We'd definitely recommend this product!!

Great tent - but a little damaged
We received the tent and the first show we put it up for, the tent portion went up very easy and quickly. The frame is sturdy and seemed well made.
The major issue with the tent is our top cover had what looked like a pulled thread area and a hole. One of the side panel was missing a zipper making it impossible to close the tent completely and securely.
other than that it held up in windy conditions.

    Great product and experience!
I am very happy w/ the Canopy. It appears to be of well made Quality. Very nice. The fact that it has a height adjustment is nice! The carrying bag opens completely for easy removal and packing! The carrying bag also has several pockets to store the wall panels. The wall panels were easy to zip up. The quality of the zippers themselves are of high quality & Heavy duty.I am 5 "4" ~ when I went to pull the carrying bag it moved very well. But I had a bit of a problem keeping it balanced while rolling it. I believe this just may be due to me not being familiar w/ the best method of pulling may take practice for short me! My husband on the other hand had no issues pulling it. He is 6"2". We set the tent up. My husband started without having the instructions in front of him. He said he remembered them in his head. Needless to say.It was quite simple With the instructions in hand! lol. It should be quite easy w/ practice as we put it up and down a few times. My husband was Quite happy with it Making many positive observations about it... this was too my relief as I feel I rarely get an atta girl when I make purchases like this! ;) The shipping & delivery was great. Everything arrived in good shape.Excellent packaging and it was nice to be able to track the package and its where abouts. Just the canopy I needed
I was afraid that the canopy would be one of those "weak" legged things that would collapse in the first wind --I was wrong --this canopy is well built and is first rate .. The only issue was the first time I used it --here come the rain!! Thought I should be Ok, but was wrong --the top leaked in so many places that I had to cover everything inside with plastic sheets. I now need to go find some water proof spray to hopefully fix this problem. Would not have thought this would happen on the first use.

    Awesome Tent!
I purchased this tent in June to use at my first outdoor craft show. It was amazingly easy to set up, taking only minutes to be ready for use. It kept us warm and dry at the first show during the wind and rain, and at the second show, when others were blown over with the wind, we were stable and comfortable! It looks good, performs very well and is very sturdy for the money.

This is great! Exactly what I need for Art shows. I love the way the side panels connect to the top and also to each other. The roll up feature of the side panels is super! Great Canopy
The canopy worked as expected. I participate in Arts & Crafts shows and the canopy provided protection from the weather and surely attracted people to see the items on display. It was easy to install, though as the manual states, it does go up faster with two people. The four side panels installed easily and protected my display overnight.

    Undercover 2/sidewalls
Love this product. Started off with a starter tent from Walmart like most of us do to see if we are going to continue doing outdoor shows. So upgrading to the Undercover tent was quite an eye opener. Instantly you see you are getting your money's worth. Already have been in a light rain with this tent. EZ Up will form pools of water on top even with minimal rain. Saw 2 EZ Up canopies collapse when rain got heavier. Undercover tent - No rain pools on top so no chance of top collapsing. Not quite as easy as video shows for one person to put up if person is a small woman but can be done. Just pace yourself or you will be worn out before you start. Having said that, other tents absolutely cannot be put up by one person. Highly recommend.
ProsVery sturdy Material thicker than similar EZ Up canopy so cooler under tent Sidewalls easy to put up Canopy very easy to put together first time Very sturdy bag

Highest Quality for the Lowest Price
I have used this tent once at a craft show and once at the beach so far. It's fairly simple to set up/down, and carry around on the wheeled bag. It's heavier than a light weight tent, I imagine, but it has the advantage of stability under wind conditions. It's a perfect fit for my needs so far, and seems like the best lower priced high quality item. I have recommended this tent to a friend who does craft shows. Thank you!
ProsWheeled bag, easy to Velcro walls (great for creating shade in different areas through tthe day as the sun moves), durable tent, easy to assemble with 2 people
ConsA bit tricky to assemble for a single not-so-strong person, not light weight (moderately heavy), higher priced than similar tents you would find at your average Walmart/Target (but better quality, again)

Very happy with my tent. I ordered a different tent (not from this company!) that arrived broken in the box and was so heavy I could barely lift it. This Undercover tent is easy to set up and close with two people, but if I had to I could do it myself as well. I'm an outdoor vendor so having a good tent that I can manage is essential. Worth every penny
We've used it only once but the set up was easy....there were three of us, though two could do it just as easily...personally, I'd rather not do it by myself but I think it's possible. Just as a previous reviewer mentioned we too were at a fair and it was in the 90s. I couldn't understand, from the comfort of my canopy, why everyone kept saying how hot it was! It was warm, but I was totally comfortable and we were working all day from 9-5pm....heat of the day. I'm pleased with the quality of the fabric on the canopy itself and the locking mechanisms. It repacked exactly as it came out of the travel case and wheeled away just fine. You get what you pay for!
ProsQuality of frame, mechanisms, and canopy material, ease of set up and carrying case with wheels

    Easy to take to market!
This tent package has almost everything you need, the tent top, four walls (one wall has a zipper door), pop-up legs with easy to use hardware that won't pinch your fingers, anchors, and a heavy duty wheeled bag that holds everything. It does not include weights to stabilize the canopy if you place it on a paved surface (you can use small sandbags for weights, or buy weights specifically made for canopy tents). It fits in the trunk/back of our two-door coupe with the seat folded down. The price was outstanding considering everything that is included. One person can set up this tent, but setup is much easier with two people. We will use this tent when selling at farmers' markets.
    ProsPrice, carrying bag, no-pinch hardware
    ConsNo weights

    Easy up is right!
This item is so much better than the tarp we used to use. I wish I would have purchased this long ago! It's also easy down!
ProsFast to put up, and take down.

Excellent product. I would buy another one in a heartbeat.
Very sturdy, easy to anchor, fabric is rugged, stitching seems solid. I love the quick-release clips for leg extension and canopy locking. My teenage son and I had no experience with this canopy and set it up in 2-3 minutes. Tear-down was simple and intuitive.
ProsSimple setup. Good structure and canopy/valance fabric. Holds up well in the wind.
ConsSidewalls are cheap, but will do the job.

    Good Value
I have been doing outdoor art shows for 7 years dodging the weather. After being in a downpour, I took the plunge and invested in a tent.

I did my research and glad I spent the extra money on the sturdier canopy. It's a little heavier, but there is always someone around to help me get in in and out of my vehicle if I need help.
ProsI love the side wall options, carrying case holds everything and the stakes are included in price.
ConsA tad heavy for my small frame, but worth the better materials.

So NICE for the Farmer's Market :-)
This canopy is even nicer than I thought it would be! It is made to be put up by just one person! So nice, since I usually work the farmer's markets I do by myself. The cheaper canopies I used to use just didn't last past one season, and by the end of the season at least one arm or leg was broken. With the middle support, letting you open the tent with one person, you can also move the fully open canopy around by lifting it in the middle.
It is definitely bigger and heavier than the other canopies I've had before, but much sturdier, and the bag much sturdier, too.

I am traveling vendor, sometimes by myself sometimes with my partner. It was important to have some thing reliable, easy, durable, neat and clean in appearance and functional for my display. I was impressed how fast the item was shipped and even more impressed when I went to set it up. BEST DESIGN EVER!!! Super easy to set up and even easier to take down. I do not have very good upper body strength and have always dreaded popping up a tent. This one is a dream. At the event this weekend my tent was significantly cooler(temperature wise-- it was 95 degrees outside) than the other vendors- they were coming by and telling me so.....they all wanted to know where I got my tent. This tent comes with tent stakes and guy wires with smaller stakes to use on grass and in the wind. Also comes with 3 different Allen wrenches and extra screws. The bag is the best, with two outside zippered pockets and 2 hidden pockets inside those outside pockets. Heavy duty high quality bag. I really can not tell you how great this tent is. My fellow vendors were struggling to put up theirs and mine was easy. Some of the best money ever spent was on this tent. Whoever designed it needs to get some sort of award. Seriously. The walls are easy to zip and easy to attach. There is no doubt this tent will last me for years to come and something I am proud to display my "store"under. Professional all the way.A++++....5 wont be sorry

    R-3 HYBRID
"After a lenghty search and careful comparison, we selected this product for use on our annual week at the beach. We've used another brand/model that didn't holdup beyond two years and we've witnessed many other canopy disasters...most failing in moderate winds situations even if staked down properly. Very happy with the construction, quality, design and function of this product. Easy to setup and takedown, wheel bag is heavy duty and well made. Did not use the walls at beach but they also appear to be easy to attach. Love my UnderCover :-)

Great Quality for an Amazing Price!
I was nervous about buying this because there is only two reviews. Since they have a return policy, I thought I'd give it a shot. I'm glad I did. I ordered this around noon on Tuesday and it arrived around 6pm on Friday shipped all the way from CA to MD. The wheeled bag is exceptional quality and looks like its built to withstand lots of use. The canopy attaches to the frame in each corner with Velcro and a snap (I think its for cosmetic reasons) half way along each side. It went together very easy. Although it required patience, I was able to put it up myself. The walls attach with Velcro and each end has a zipper so they all close together. The frame is very sturdy and improved. The description doesn't say, but the packing indicates that the material is waterproof but seams are just water resistant. It does recommend spraying sealer on it the seams from time-to-time.
ProsQuality Lots of Features and Extras Someone got it right
ConsFrames a bit stiff when out of the box

I am a small outdoor weekend vendor at a Framer's market in southern Connecticut and my canopy is my livelihood. This model is very impressive and well made, the wheel bag is the best ever, very functional.Frame was a bit stiff upon initial setup however after the second, third and fourth time putting it up-and-down, now it is manageable by one person.

    AWESOME - Well Built
"I used several other "EZ" instant shelters in the past for my DJ equipment and they always seemed to be built with poor quality. I got tired of replacing parts and dealing with leaks so I decided to spend a little more money for higher quality this time around. I received this tent and was very impressed the first time around!

This thing is a bit heavy but it seems to be very durable and well designed unlike my past shelters. I needed a reliable and solid instant shelter to protect my DJ equipment in the hot Florida heat and rain and this shelter does the job! I highly recommend it!"
