Is this a good model for my needs? I live in the woods all throughout the year; I am looking for a tent that I can stand up in, a walk-in tent that will fit four people.

The model you have selected is an excellent choice. This model is also quite reliable and meets your specifications: UnderCover APEX Base-Camp Tent with Two Sleeping Rooms, Up To 144 sq. ft. - UC-APEX.

Perfect Tent

After owning this tent for over three years, I have made a few observations. First of all, this is an exceptional product. It protects from rain, is spacious, easy to assemble, and provides a good flow of air. The only thing that I would change would be the material that the bottom bathtub is made of. The bottom is made of a flimsy polyethylene material and cracks from long exposure to the sun.

Multi-Use Cabin Tent

Most people use their tents for sleeping in while camping out, but not much else. We are not your typical campers! During a six-week-long season, we used this tent as our office, dressing room and sleeping quarters while working as actors in an open-air venue. This cabin tent from Bear Mountain played the part well through heat of over 100 degrees and rain. We didnÔÇÖt have to crouch going in and out to change, it had plenty of room for our work and the air movement helped us keep our cool. Some reviews mentioned sun damage, but that hasnÔÇÖt been evident. I wish I could set it up myself, but it definitely needs another hand. Still, I would buy another should the need arise.

Good for Short Uses

Although many won't leave a tent out for an extended period of time, we have had it up for twelve weeks and have had some problems with rotting. Since it is unusual to leave the tent out for long periods of time, I could probably say that short uses wouldn't be a problem, but if you are planning to keep a tent out in the sun then don't purchase this. We have managed to repair a little bit of the bottom of the tent, so maybe we will be able to use it for a little longer. I do have to say that the fly is very well designed, and you can keep the windows open when it is raining without any fear of getting it in the tent. Watch out for how rough you are on the bottom. It feels kind of weak, and would probably tear with too much force.

Tent Lives Up To Promises

This tent is a grand slam all around. Not only was it delivered early but also it has lived up to every single promise that was laid out in the ad. It has managed to hold up in the wind without any problem and is a great buy all around. All of the reviews are right on in labeling this tent a great tent at a terrific value.

Not Ideal for Solo Camping

This tent packs small, but isn't ideal for a solo camping trip. This tent doesn't have the capabilities of being open during the rain due to the lack of canopies over the windows. It is rather hard to set up by yourself, and is pretty heavy. It may be roomy, but definitely not durable.

Great Tent for High Winds

This was a great purchase. Everything about it is just what the description online said it would be, as well as the good reviews it had. Camping in eastern Washington with high winds presented no problems, whatsoever. I really love this tent and am anxious to use it for my next camping trip ÔÇô at the ocean!
