Can I purchase a replacement top and sidewalls (10'x10')? I have the canopy frame. I would like to know two options: most economical or waterproof/heavy duty.
By Dawn H. on December 18, 2012
Answer:We will need to know both the manufacturer and model of your canopy to answer your question. There are no universal tops or sidewalls.

I'm looking for a rain proof 10 x 10 outdoor canopy. I do not want water resistant. I need it to be completely water proof! It also needs side walls. Can you help me out?
By Collin C. on September 24, 2013
The only truly waterproof pop up canopy that we offer is the Vitabri V3 10 x 10 Aluminum Pop Up Canopy - Waterproof Top
. The heavy 1000 denier top will both repel water and resist sagging. Sidewalls for the tent are also available and can be seen in the accessory section on the item page.

Do you have any canopies that block the sun but let the rain through?
By Magan B. on May 6, 2013
Answer:Our canopies are water resistant, so water rolls off and usually does not pass through.

Does the canopy, model # 23571, have metal footplates? Is it silver or white? What is its weight? What are the differences in the covers?
By Dawn H. on May 8, 2013
Answer:Both have plastic feet that are white and the 23571 weighs 149 pounds. The difference between the two besides the cover is the the frame. The 25763 weighs a little more and is more heavy duty.
By Dick from PA on May 10, 2013
How sturdy is canopy #29522? How long will the tan fabric last if we leave it up all summer? How sturdy is canopy #29522?
By Dawn H. on May 10, 2013
Answer:The frame itself is very sturdy, being made of 22 gauge steel. The cover is waterproof but it is recommended that if strong winds or severe weather is forecast for your area that the cover be removed and stored until the conditions have passed.

Can we get clear sidewalls for a Caravan 10x10 Pop Up Canopy?
By Tyler M. on May 29, 2013
Yes, you could use the Caravan 10' Clear Sidewall
on any of the Caravan 10' x 10' models. Of course, each model would require (4) of those walls for complete enclosure.

I need a replacement 10 x 20 shelter roof piece only. Do you have one?
By Emily on September 30, 2013
Answer:We do sell replacement 10x20 tops for canopies. We would just need to know who is the manufacturer of your canopy so we can make sure we get the correct fit for your frame.
By Brent from Cincinnati, OH on September 15, 2013
I am looking for a canopy whose side height is somewhere close to 10 feet tall. Most everything I have been finding is 6'4 on the side. If you could either direct me to some canopies that have a taller side height, or give me an option to boost some of the standard canopies another 3 feet off the ground, that would be greatly appreciated.
By Kevin E. on September 16, 2013
Answer:We do not list any canopies or shelters with side clearance near ten feet. Customers in the past have found success with installing one of our semi-permanent shelters on pylons. However, that would involve nearly 4' pylons in your case and I'm afraid that would simply make any of our shelters far too unstable.

I need a light and durable canopy for going to kids sporting events. I don't want to get a cheaply made one because we live in California and it will get a lot of use. What is the best brand or manufacturer?
By Emily on September 18, 2013
Answer:Please check out the Aluma 10x10 by Caravan. The item # CAR-41009. This is light weight and the frame is commercial grade aluminum. You can see all the accessories listed on this items page as well. Please let us know if we can assist you any further.

I am looking to purchase a canopy for my business. I own a swimming pool for dogs so I would prefer to get one in the color blue. I plan on doing 3-6 events a year. Most are for 6 hours or less. I live in the Seattle area so I need one that is waterproof. I am usually doing these events solo, so I also need one that I would be capable of putting up on my own. I would like to purchase a high quality item so it will last a while. What would you recommend?
By Tyler M. on September 18, 2013
We have one waterproof pop-up canopy that would be ideal for your needs; it is available in a 10' x 10', 10' x 15' and a 10' x 20' size. Please see the 10' x 10' model here:

Do I need one or two King Canopy 80" Carry Bags for Canopy Poles? They would be for a Pipe ShelterLogic 10 x 20 Max AP 8 Leg Canopy Shelter with Extension Kit.
By Kevin E. on September 24, 2013
These two items are produced by different manufacturers. So, it is slightly difficult to estimate the answer to your question. However, a safe estimate would be three King Canopy Carry Bags
. One bag for the tent structure and the other two bags for all the fabric.

This is a first time farmer's market for me here in Naples, Fl. The market is on hot blacktop, and my concern is heat. I will be setting up by myself. I'm a 5'1, lightweight person. I like the 600 denier, but am concerned of its weight compared to the lightweight. What are some other options?
By Emily on October 7, 2013
Answer:The manufacturer does not recommend that 1 person sets up the canopies. They suggest 2 because of the weight and manipulating the frame during set up. The frame you choose will determine on how much you can lift with your legs. The Displayshade weighs 68 lbs, The Traveler is 58 lbs, Classic is 64 lbs, and Aluma is 49 lbs.

What is the best 12 X 12 canopy for the beach?
I need something that is very easy to put up, is sturdy and can withstand beach breezes.
By Dawn H. on May 28, 2014
The best one would be the Caravan Monster
as it has the toughest frame. However, if you are looking for a more economical solution, the ShelterLogic Pro Series
may be a better option for you.
However, please keep in mind that no pop up style canopies is to designed to withstand high winds. Make sure you stake it down well and use good judgement. If the winds get high enough to start blowing the canopy around, you will need to take it down to avoid wind damage.

Answer:We do not sell the replacement covers. You will need to purchase the cover directly from the manufacturer of your garage.

I'm looking for a steel frame canopy with great cross beam/truss support for tailgating in wind.
What do you reccomend?
By Dawn H. - eCanopy Product Specialist on June 26, 2014
The best product would be the Caravan Classic 10 x 10 Package Deal
. It has a commercial steel frame, and comes with 4 side walls and a roller bag. You can use any combination of walls or none at all.
We would also recommend you purchase weight bags
for use around the legs.

I am looking for a canopy to be used by my soccer team. It needs to be easy to set up right before a game. We play in the Pacific Northwest so it needs to be as rainproof as possible. Also, if it could withstand wind that would be great, Do you have any recommendations?
By Dawn H. - eCanopy Product Specialist on August 18, 2014
The only actually water proof canopy we have is the Vitabri canopy
Most other canopies are water resistant only. This means they will shed light rains but in heavy or sustained rains, they may start to leak, especially if water pools in the top of the canopy.
Most canopies are also susceptible to strong winds. One package I would recommend that is easy to set up is the 10 x 10 Craft Show Package Deal
. This package comes with weight bags that can be strapped around the legs to add more weight to the canopy, thus adding more stability in the wind.

Are there any canopies that can be put up by one person and are waterproof?
By Justin R. - eCanopy Product Specialist on September 6, 2016
Answer:The canopies offered by Vitabri are currently the only canopies certified as waterproof. However, the framework for these canopies is a bit heavier than standard, and may prove difficult for customers of moderate strength to setup on their own.

We have a soccer game on a field where they ban all EZ Up tents and chairs that have stakes/legs which would poke holes in the ground. Do you sell any EZ Ups or canopies that have wide, flat supports?
By Darnarius on November 21, 2016
Answer:You can purchase any pop up canopy on our site and purchase weight bags to go on the legs. Therefore, you will not have to stake anything into the ground. You would just set up the canopy on top of the ground and fill your weight bags with sand, dirt or gravel and attach them to the legs of the canopy to weight it down.

I have owned 3 canopies over the past 4-5 years to use on my deck. Each one was advertised as water-resistant, but all of them pool water near the side and eventually stretch the material so the top sags. Is there a truly "rain canopy" available? I need a 10' x 10' straight leg in beige or forest green. Thank you.

I'm looking for a durable 10' x 10' canopy for use at farmers markets. I have been through 6 tents - each time the frame breaks at the joints where a hole has been drilled to accommodate a bolt for the joint. It weakens the aluminum frame and it breaks here. I am looking for one that is steel or heavy duty poly material that won't break at this joint.

How is it recommended to anchor a pop up canopy in windy conditions?
By Collin C. on July 13, 2017
Answer:First and foremost, it is never recommended to use a pop up canopy in stormy or excessively windy conditions. If only light to moderate winds are expected, there are several ways to effectively anchor a canopy. If the canopy will be set up on soft ground, the best way to anchor the canopy will be to stake it at the legs or drive stakes near the base of each leg and tie back each corner with a rope or strap. Anchoring the ropes or straps higher up at the corners of the tent will have the greatest effectiveness. For hard surfaces, many manufacturers offer canvas strap on weight bags and weight plates that are designed to attach to the base of the canopy legs, adding the needed ballast. For more open environments where moderate winds might be encountered, it may be necessary to use 5 gallon buckets filled with sand, dirt, or water.
