What is the shape and spacing of the metal ribs for this structure and what gauge of steel is used? Also, what is the wind rating for this structure?
This unit uses 22 - sturdy 2 3/8" diameter steel frame. The length is 24' long and there are 11 poles on each side so they are roughly 2' apart. The ribs are in 2 long parts with connectors. ShelterLogic does not have a wind rating on this unit.

ShelterLogic 15 x 24 x 12 Peak-Style Portable Shelter

By Danny

Alignment problems

Overall GOOD quality. Several holes (3) not aligned for bolts required major drilling of extra holes to bolt frame together, Also, inside diameter of all tubes had burrs that caused frame to not align or go together easily, required Dremel tool/file to sand off burrs inside of tubing. This added several hours to the construction time. A little disappointing.

Pros

Well written instructions, good material for cover, good paint on large diameter tubing.

Cons

Hole alignment and interior tube finish (burrs) somewhat lacking. Would like to see the recommended number of anchors in the kit.
