What does slightly marked mean?
By Dawn H. on May 7, 2012
Answer:The manufacturing process for this leaves slight marks in the finish. We state that so people will not think they have received a used item.

Does this canopy have an adjustable peak pole extender like the Undercover Canopies?
By Tyler M. on May 29, 2013
No, this model does not have an adjustable peak pole. The only Caravan model with this feature is the 10' x 10' Traveler
By Jan from Des Moines, IA on June 21, 2013
What is the difference between the Display Shade, Alumashade and Traveler Canopy?
By Tyler M. on June 24, 2013
All three of these models are good choices, but here are a few distinctions among them. First, the DisplayShade
model is our bestseller. It has a lightweight steel frame, so it is heavier than the other two with a frame weight of about 48 lbs. The Traveler
features the ability to collapse to a shorter size, so that it can fit in a standard car trunk. It is considered the lightest-duty of the three. This Alumashade is a good compromise, as it has a stronger frame than the Traveler but is lighter in weight (35 lbs frame weight) than the DisplayShade.

Are the wall made of the same material as the top?
By Dawn H. on July 19, 2013
Answer:No, they are not. The top is made of 500 denier polyester and the sides are made of polyethylene.
By Lois from Oregon on August 12, 2013
What is the size of the legs on this model? We also want to know the following:
1.On the walls, can you have a zipper in the middle of the wall and if so, can we have 3 walls with zippers in the center and also in the corners?
2. What is the weight of the canopy and also when in the bag?
3. Is there a discount for buying 3 canopies? If so how much?
4. What is meant by "slightly marked"?
By Tommy H. on August 12, 2013
Answer:The walls in this package deal only come with one middle zipper wall. This canopy weighs 54 pounds in the box. There is no quantity discount for three canopies. Slightly marked refers to the pattern of the powder coated frame as opposed to the smooth texture of a non powder coated frame. The outer leg diameter of this canopy is 1-1/8".
By Lena from GA on August 14, 2013
Can you describe the materials Polyethylene and Poly-Taft? How would I know which one is used for the walls in this package? I ordered Caravan canopy before and returned it because the walls were done with very thin, shiny fabric, which was also off white in color.
By Dawn H. on August 15, 2013
Answer:The materials are very similar, so you would run into the same problem.
By Marla from Moline, il on May 12, 2014

By Cindy from Milford, CT on June 22, 2014
What is the top peak height? I have had tents before and during a rain storm the water collects on the top and collapses the tent. Will this happen to this design? How does this compare to the ShelterLogic professional grade tent?
By Dawn H. - eCanopy Product Specialist on June 23, 2014
Answer:The top peak height is approximately 12 feet high. As with all pop-up style canopies, water is likely to collect in top during a rain storm. Pop up canopies are designed primarily to provide shade only. The ShelterLogic brand pop up canopies will have the same problem.
By Scott from Castle Rock, CO on June 24, 2014
Answer:I can't give you an exact measurement, We compete in BBQ comps over night and have been rained on, this is the best canopy and easiest to use have seen. It has a high peak and water runs right off it! I would recommend this even for snow.

How does this Caravan 10x10 Alumashade canopy package with 4 sidewalls differ from Caravan Aluma professional package?
By Dawn H. - eCanopy Product Specialist on October 2, 2014
Answer:The Caravan Alumashade is a mid-grade aluminum frame weighing 60 pounds and is available with a white top only. The Caravan Aluma is a commercial grade aluminum frame. Because of the manufacturing process, you get a much stronger frame with a lesser weight of 49 pounds. The Aluma also offers a variety of top colors.

Does this canopy package deal come with the roller bag? It says that it does but then it lists it as an extra accessory.
By Dawn H. - eCanopy Product Specialist on March 6, 2015
Answer:Yes, it does come with a roller bag. It is also listed as an accessory in the event someone needs a replacement or an upgrade.
By Mark from North Central, WA on March 6, 2015
Answer:It does come with a roller bag, actually a quite sturdy bag. It works great and I highly recommend it.
Also, the canopy itself works very well. it is compact and lighter weight (not light weight, but light-er to pick up). We also use an older painted steel frame canopy which is significantly heavier. A good deal.
By MK from FL on March 6, 2015
Answer:Yes it does. The bottom line in the listing reads "deluxe roller bag".
By Vicki from Riverside, CA on March 6, 2015
Answer:Yes it does.
By Matt from Jacksonville, Florida on March 6, 2015
Answer:Yes, this came with a nice roller bag that contains everything in one package.
By Harriet from Orlando, FL on March 9, 2015
Answer:Yes, there is a roller bag, it is zippered around the bottom & you place bag over tent, pull down then lift the bottom into it & zip it.l The bag seems to be more heavy duty than the previous ones. It looks like more of a canvas material than nylon.

The event sponsors will not allow stakes to be put into the ground at our event. What can I do to secure this Caravan 10x10 Alumashade canopy package to the ground?
By April L. - eCanopy Product Specialist on May 11, 2015
You can use Weight Bags
if you are unable to use stakes.
By Vicki from Riverside, CA on May 11, 2015
Answer:You can buy weights that fit on the corners or you can fill water jugs and tie them to the feet.
By Rachel from NC on May 11, 2015
You use weights to secure the tent. You can use a something as simple as a gallon jug filled with water at each corner or you can buy weights like these
By KaTinka from Edmond, OK on May 12, 2015
Answer:You can attach tent weight bags filled with sand or pea gravel to the tent poles. These weight bags are sold by eCanopy and other sites on the internet. Or you can make your own with plastic plumbing pipe filled with concrete and attached to the tent poles with bungee cords or adjustable straps. For additional stability, ( I live in tornado alley) attach a metal pole horizontally between each tent pole at the bottom.
By Zelma from Eliijay, GA on May 5, 2015
What is the size of the aluminum frame poles of this Caravan 10x10 Alumashade canopy package deal and how many of the side walls have zippers?
By Dawn H. - eCanopy Product Specialist on May 5, 2015
Answer:The outer leg is 1-1/4" in diameter with the inner leg that slides up into the outer leg only slightly smaller. All of the walls have zippers at the edge for zippering them together and one wall will have a middle zipper for entrance and exit.
By KaTinka from OK on May 6, 2015
Answer:The Aluminum frame poles are 1 1/8". All of the side walls have zippers so you can hibernate your tent if the need arises. FYI, Its a good idea to erect the tent and zip all the side walls together before you stake and weight the tent into place. The first time we put ours up we staked the poles out just a bit too far and couldn't quite get everything zipped up. We re-positioned the stakes and all was well.
By Gail from Manhattan, NY on August 14, 2015
Can the center pipe of the roof of this Caravan 10 x 10 Alumashade canopy package deal be lowered down to the level of the 4 leg posts? I need to know if I can use it in a room with 8 foot high ceilings. I will just be using the frame without the canvas canopy top.
By Emily - eCanopy Product Specialist on August 14, 2015
Answer:Thank you for the inquiry. The center peak pole must be completely extended so the top will be tight on the frame and the material will not be sagging down through the top. The legs on the frame can be adjusted with the height but the top cannot.
By Carol Claypool from Pensacola, Florida on August 20, 2015
Answer:The pole goes up to a pike, so it can not be lowered without lowering the whole tent.
By Sam from CA on September 13, 2015

I printed the product manual but the print is so small that I can't read it, much less follow the picture instructions. Is there any way that I can get a manual that is in larger print?
By Sarah on March 31, 2017
Answer:Your best bet will be to actually enlarge the print on your screen and then print. There are icons in the lower right hand corner to adjust the size of the image.
