Does this shelter have a rollup door on both sides?
    By Dawn H. on April 8, 2014

    Answer:
Yes, it has doors on both ends.

Will be trying to anchor this garage to asphalt. What type of anchors will do that?
    By Collin C. on May 19, 2014

    Answer:
When anchoring to a hard surface, I recommend using a hammerdrill to bore into the asphalt, then install concrete/asphalt anchors. This will give you an attachment point to tie down the tent frame.

My RV is 12'8" tall. The door looks low in the picture, will this garage be able to handle my RV?

    By Collin C. on May 19, 2014

    Answer:
The door height for this particular canopy is 12 feet 6 inches tall. The canopy material should flex enough to allow for the 2 inches of variance. The only other option would be to pour a concrete perimeter curb that would allow you to raise the shelter slightly to gain the additional clearance.

What is the typical anchoring methodology and how is this unit in very windy areas?
    By Dawn H. on April 30, 2014

    Answer:
It comes with 22 EARTH CABLE ANCHORS #DBA-3000 with U-bolts and nuts. These versatile anchors allow the frame to be secured to almost any surface.

In addition you will also be provided with a 36 Drive Rod # DR-3001 used to drive the anchor heads into the earth.

If the location where you are placing the building has very hard ground or any rock in it, pre-drill the holes before inserting anchors. Hitting the anchors into rock will cause the drive rod end to mushroom inside the anchor head, and prevent the drive rod from coming out of the hole.

Anchor placement should be on the inside of the unit, at each corner and at the base of each upright leg pole. Angle the anchor placement to prevent the frame from spreading out over time.

While this unit does not have a wind rating, there should be no problems as long as the proper anchoring and other assembly instructions are followed.

How much of a snow load is recommend for this garage?
By Dawn H. - eCanopy Product Specialist on August 25, 2014

    Answer:
This unit does not have a snow load rating. The manufacturer suggests that all snow accumulation on the main cover should be removed as soon as practical as the unit is not designed for any amount of accumulated snow or ice. Tap the main cover from the inside with a broom end to knock off any accumulated snow.

The only snow load rated shelters of this type we carry are the ShelterTube shelters by ShelterLogic. These are available in both gray and green in sizes of 12 x 20 x 11, 12 x 25 x 11 and 12 x 30 x 11. They can resist winds up to 80 mph and snow/ground loads of 43 pounds per square foot (when used correctly).

Do you make a unit that is longer than 42'? My motor home is 45' long, so I would probably need 50'.
By Darnarius on May 2, 2017

    Answer:
I apologize, but the unit you are inquiring about is the longest we offer at the moment.

I'm looking to install this inside a warehouse on concrete. Do I need to dig up concrete to install this?
By Chris C. - eCanopy Product Specialist on March 23, 2016

    Answer:
The structure will stand on its own without being anchored or secured. However, to keep the structure squared, I would suggest anchoring the frame to the concrete with TapCon style anchors prior to installation of the cover itself.

What's the typical lifespan of the polyethylene cover in hot sunny areas?
By Darnarius on November 14, 2016

    Answer:
We can not advise on the life expectancy of products that are exposed to the elements, as different weather conditions and climates will affect results and we have no way to gauge effects of these changes.
