how does this compare with the cover it brand? will water get underneath? what is the warranty? what is the average life?
By Collin C. on May 30, 2014
Answer:Cover-It is actually a subsidiary the is owned by Shelter Logic. Many of the products are identical to one another. Water can penetrate beneath the canopy, but it is recommend to level the intended setup spot to prevent this. The manufacturer offers a 1 year warranty against defects in the frame or cover. Replacement parts will be shipped in the event of a failure. Average cover life will vary by location, but 4 to 5 years seems to be the most common.

I live in South West Colorado and snow is a factor here. I understand there is no snow load rating for these shelters. Is a peak style or round style better for my application? What shelter would you recommend?

Round is usually considered the better option. However. we do carry snow load rated shelters of this type, They are the the ShelterTube shelters by ShelterLogic
. These are available in both gray and green in sizes of 12 x 20 x 11, 12 x 25 x 11 and 12 x 30 x 11. They can resist winds up to 80 mph and snow/ground loads of 43 pounds per square foot (when used correctly).
