How much does this canopy weigh? Is it possible for one person to set it up in less than 1/2 hour? Are the side walls made of the same material as the canopy top?
By Dawn H. on April 23, 2012
Answer:The weight is 68 pounds. It is very possible for one person to set up as long as the weight is not an issue. The sides and top are made of the same 500 Denier polyester.

How do you arrange the Velcro-ed side walls as in the picture with them draped around the poles? Do they accordion fold at the top of the pole, but somehow not gape where released from the Velcro?
By Magan B. on November 13, 2012
Answer:To position the walls draped around the poles, you will attach half of the velcro tabs on one side of the corner (under the valance) and half on the other side of the corner (under the valance).

Do the sidewalls come together and zip up to form a private/bug-free enclosure?
By Emily on March 5, 2014
Answer:Yes, they completely enclose the canopy. As far as bug free, I'm sure it will help keep them out but not "bug free".

Although the description states that the legs are straight, in the image/photo they look like they are angled outward. Are they truly straight? Also, is this canopy vented?
By Dawn H. - eCanopy Product Specialist on August 1, 2014
Answer:The legs are indeed straight. The walls gathered around the legs are puffed out slightly, giving the illusion that the legs are angled. The canopy is not vented.

Do the tent sides of this King Canopy 10x10 DuraLite composite canopy zip or fasten with Velcro? How light/dark is the tent inside when it is closed?
By Dawn H. - eCanopy Product Specialist on May 12, 2015
Answer:They zipper together at the edges. When closed up, it is light enough to see.
By Kayl from Sarasota, FL on May 12, 2015
Answer:The side walls attach to the roof by velcro but zip together along each of the legs, as well as another zipper for the front entrance. I was pleased at how bright the space was with only the front zipper opened. I am a photographer and felt there was enough light during the day for my clients to still see my photos without adding extra lighting.
