The clearance from the valance to the ground is 84".

Can the canopy be sprayed with a water proofing spray without damaging it or voiding the warranty?
    By Tommy H. on May 7, 2012

    Answer:
Unfortunately this would void the warranty.

Is it water proof or resistant? Overall is it better to have zippered side walls?
    By Kevin E. on April 30, 2012

    Answer:
This canopy top, being 100% polyester, is not water proof. However, it is water resistant. Yes, zippered sidewalls are a great addition to a canopy as they provide for complete enclosure.

By John Giardina from Wampum, Pa. on May 4, 2012
Is the canopy of higher thickness and quality than the the non commercial types?
    By Collin C. on May 4, 2012

    Answer:
In comparison to other tents in this manufacturer's lineup, this tent does indeed feature a heavier aluminum frame and canopy, but is still lightweight enough to be handled easily.

Even heavier commercial tents are available, however they are more difficult to transport and setup, especially if you are planning on frequent use of the product.

I had noticed that the top of the frame there is a web. Is there at least 5 feet from there to the ground?

Can this canopy fit in the back of a car?
    By Dawn H. on May 7, 2012

    Answer:
It will depend on the car. The folded length is 63".

By Michelle from Johnson City, TN on September 22, 2012
I assembled this canopy today. The maximum height was 5'9" in the center, under the valance. What am I doing wrong that there is not 7' clearence?

Also, I saw the paper that recommends using waterproofing spray on the canopy. After buying the spray, I have noticed a reply to one question that states use of waterproofing spray will void the warranty. Is it supposed to be sprayed or not?
    By Dawn H. on September 24, 2012

    Answer:
As far as the clearance, you need to make sure you have the canopy frame on its highest setting.

If the paper is directly from the manufacturer, then you may use the spray. Most manufacturers do not recommend it, as it could interfere with its flame retardant construction.

I am looking to buy my first popup style tent, for use at craft shows. It must be easily assembled and durable. I will be handling it alone so weight is an important issue. it must be 10 by 10 with sides. What would you recommend?

Is this one 100% waterproof? we do art and craft shows, our products are all hand made wooden shelves and plaques. We bought a popup tent at another store and it said waterproof. Overnight, it rained and we lost some of our merchandise - the tent leaked in a rain storm overnight.
    By Dawn H. on January 10, 2013

    Answer:
No, it is not. The only waterproof canopy we carry is the Vitabri

The walls are plastic/tarp like. Yes, they zip in the corner and do have one wall with a zippered entry.

What is the main difference between the UC-3R10WV Undercover popup canopy and the UC-3P10 models. They seem very similar to me. I am looking for the lightest one with four walls than can be put up by myself on occasion and being female, the lighter and easier (but sturdier) the better.
By Emily on January 28, 2014

    Answer:
The UC-3R10WV is the unit with sidewalls in the package and the UC-3P10 does not. So, the 3R10WV is the best for your specific requests. This unit is very easy to use and very light weight with sidewalls included.

This tent has what looks like a top vent that would help with stability against wind gusts. Is that true? Also, can it be folded down to fit in carry bag with wall on, or must walls be taken down before folding up?
By Dawn H. - eCanopy Product Specialist on August 28, 2014

    Answer:
Yes, this canopy does indeed have a vent at the top. The walls would need to be removed before you fold the canopy down. This is true with all pop-up style canopies as leaving the walls on would both interfere with the folding process and could cause damage to the walls.

Does this Undercover super lightweight popup canopy have multiple height adjustments? Also, how does the vent at the top of this canopy open and close?
By Brennan W. - eCanopy Product Specialist on April 13, 2015

    Answer:
The vent stays open and does not have the ability to close. The height adjusts by using the release levers on the legs to allow the leg to move freely up or down.

By Nancy from Highland, CA on March 31, 2015
How does the vent at the top of this canopy open/close? Is there more than 1 height setting? I noticed other canopies stating that they had 3 height settings.
By Dawn H. - eCanopy Product Specialist on April 1, 2015

    Answer:
The vent remains open and does not have the option to close. This canopy does indeed have multiple height settings.
By Ann from CA on April 1, 2015

    Answer:
Yes, this has different height settings. We have not used the vent but it would have to be dealt with while on a lower setting I suppose.

How are the 4 side walls of this Undercover canopy package attached? Is it with Zipper or Velcro? Is this canopy water resistant?
By Dawn H. - eCanopy Product Specialist on April 7, 2015

    Answer:
The walls Velcro on at the top and then zipper together at the edges. It is indeed water resistant but not water proof.

By Jennifer from Angola, IN on May 25, 2015
What does the vent ceiling of this Undercover 10' x 10' super lightweight commercial canopy package look like? I am concerned about the rain coming in during shows.
By Emily - eCanopy Product Specialist on May 26, 2015

    Answer:
Undercover has 2 vents at the top of their canopy tops. They have designed the vents so they are hooded so water cannot come into the tent. Rain water should not be allowed to pool up on the top of the canopy to avoid leaking or possible damage to the overall structure. Please see the photo of the canopy top in the link below.

    Undercover canopy
By Ann from San Diego, CA on May 26, 2015

    Answer:
I think you have to open the vent for venting. We have never done that and have not had an issue with rain coming in from the top.

By Sharon from GA on May 29, 2015
Does the top of this Undercover 10 x 10 Super lightweight canopy package stay on or do I have to take it on and off each time I use it?
By Emily - eCanopy Product Specialist on May 29, 2015

    Answer:
Thank you for your inquiry. We always suggest that you remove the fabric from the frame to avoid the material being pinched in the frame hardware and possibly causing damage.
By JR from CO on May 30, 2015

    Answer:
I have only used the tent one time and I left the top on. The zipper to the carrying bag does not zip completely with the top on. I would rather the bag not zip completely than to take the time to put the top on at the site of the event.
By Nancy from Highland, CA on May 31, 2015

    Answer:
The top stays on. You only have to put it on the first time. After that it folds up with the frame and still fits in the carry bag.
By Liz from Madison, WI on June 1, 2015

    Answer:
I've had my tent up and down five times in the last few months, and I've kept the top on since the first time I set it up. It even fits nicely inside the carrying case. I was worried that It would be too hard to zip the case closed with the extra fabric, but it fits very nicely.

    Worked great in wind

I would recommend this item to a friend.
Used this tent (with weights) the first time last weekend. High winds and rain came along with tornado warnings. The tent held up - didn't fly away and did not leak - and was quick and easy to breakdown. Had a little difficulty putting it up, but it was a learning process....next time will be much easier. Did not need, or use the side walls.
    Pros:
Easy to set up and take down, weights are easy to fill and attach, vent are great for preventing sudden "lift-off".

I love how easy to carry and set up and think undercover makes the best tent. We use it a lot at the beach and the upper supports that support the roof really move in the wind. Also the fabric is not as thick and is not holding up as well as our professional undercover tent. Go with the professional tent if you are strong.

We have purchased several screen tents to cover our hot tub. But our cat was able to destroy the screens in record time. The sides are holding up, and we have the privacy we want.

On windy days it must be lowered. But that is to be expected.

I searched all over the web, did my comparisons and asked all the vendors I work with. I ended up with this tent. Why? It does everything it says it does. The tent material is good quality, easy to put up and take down. Can be done with one person but my husband and I do the shows together so it makes it even easier. We set it up first at home and put the canopy on so we didn't have to do it at the show. I'm very happy with my purchase even though I spent a bit more than I intended, it was soooooo worth it. If your doing shows on a regular basis, don't even hesitate. Even some of the vendors are asking about it and they are interested in getting their next one here!!!! NOT ALL TENTS ARE CREATED EQUAL!!!!!
    Pros:
The set up is so easy, the canopy material is good quality. The carrying cart is amazing, not cheap at all, well put together.
    Cons:
    None!!!!

    New Canopy review
    By
    Guy Sheeter
    from Oregonon
    May 17, 2014
Poorly designed. All the weight on the roof is on one small support that is about 2+ in diameter at the peak. In a rain or snow this would be a real problem. We had it up for a day in a 20 to 30mph wind for several hours and nearly lost it. This is not a canopy that you set up and leave in your backyard or camp for a day or two and expect to see it still up in a storm.. The bases are plastic which over time can give out and be detached from the legs.
    Pros:
    Looks good. Nice carrying bag.
    Cons:
Structure poorly deisnged. Cannot leave it unattended in the slightest storm. Instructions are poor.

    Great Quality and Value

While it's easier for two people to set up because of the size, it is possible to manage on your own too. I thought it would be much heavier to lift collapsed or to roll in its case, but I was able to do both with no problem. (5'6" female) With help, it sets up very quickly once we figured it out. 2nd and 3rd setup was much quicker so I recommend you practice first if you've never handled a canopy like this.
    Pros:
The quality is really nice as far as construction and appearance. Our canopy definitely stood out among flimsier types at a festival. The placement of loops for signs or posters help a lot. The walls attach easily but for this event, we only used one.
    Cons:
The instructions could be more thorough but common sense helped us through the first setup ok. My main fabric banner needs a rod run through (like a shower curtain)to hang properly, so it would be nice to have a bar type set up to hang silky banners to prevent sagging.

    UnderCover Canopy is a winner!

Purchased the canopy this summer looking to use outdoor in late September. I am 75 yrs old, 5 foot woman and was able to set up the tent using 40 lb. sand bags at each corner by myself and also took it down by myself. The side walls were a bit more of a struggle to set up. I appreciate the vent possibilities at the top. The frame work of the tent seems very strong although so light weight.
    Pros:
The tent is light weight and with the wheeled bag is no problem to take to the site. The banana style of the bag is very convenient as I watch others trying to pull their tent bag down over the tent. The day of the show winds were predicted at 5 to 15 mph but we had much stronger gusts. I ended up hanging onto a front post to hold the tent in place but the tent did not go down. Three tents that day went down and were lost.
    Cons:
The directions to attach the side walls are lacking. They leave one pondering as to what side even is up or in or out.

I will be attending my first outdoor craft show and spent a lot of time trying to find the right tent that had the look I wanted. After checking around, online, this is the one I like the best for the money. We put it up and it looks great! The walls are tarp-like but still looks very neat and clean. Everything went together smoothly. I would recommend this tent. I am a happy customer! Thank you!!
    Pros:
Very nice quality, went up easy. I like the peaked top.
    Cons:
    Nothing. :)

SO NICE FOR FARMERS MARKETS - 10 STARS

I would recommend this item to a friend.
This canopy is even nicer than I thought it would be! It is made to be put up by just one person! So nice, since I usually work the farmer's markets I do by myself. The cheaper canopies I used to use just didn't last past one season, and by the end of the season at least one arm or leg was broken. With the middle support, letting you open the tent with one person, you can also move the fully open canopy around by lifting it in the middle. It is definitely bigger and heavier than the other canopies I've had before, but much sturdier, and the bag much sturdier, too. The only thing I've found a little difficult was pulling the loaded bag, since it's so big, as it drags a little on the bottom above the wheels. It's actually almost easier to push it. But that's minor, and not a reason to not get this tent! I am SO pleased with it, and so glad I got it!
    Pros:

    Cons:
What took so long to offer this type of product at this cost? :-)

I used this canopy this summer for an art fair. It is soooooo easy to put up and take down. I am a woman and do these shows myself so weight and ease of use are important. It''s sturdy enough as long as there is no heavy weather in the forecast. I would buy this all over again.
    Pros:
light weight attractive air vents at the top easy to use
    Cons:
    nothing to dislike

A wonderful tent. It is as easy to put up as the video showed on the website. It is excellent quality canvas and the carrying case is top quality. Everything you need comes with this package. I have added heavier stakes for tie down but that was not a big deal. The stakes that come with it are adequate. The best feature is the locking leg mechanism. It is not one of those button locks that pinches your fingers. They are red in color so they are easy to find. It also has a tension screw so you can make the roof more tight so water does not pool on top. The shipping was very quick and free. I will definitely recommend this tent and use your company again.
    Pros:
Great ease in setting up. Top quality materials. Great carrying case.
    Cons:
Could have heavier tie down stakes.

I do craft shows and while we have only used it a couple of times, thus far we are really pleased. It's easier to put up than any other we have had and love the fact that the top can be stored with the tent in the bag.
    Pros:
Easy to put up and take down. Top stays on the frame and is stored in the bag.
    Cons:
Small leg plates for anchoring. While spikes for anchoring came with the tent and I have sand bags still feel I need something more to secure the frame to the ground.

    Sturdy and Easy Up

The canopy goes up and down easy with one person, but you really need 2 the first time to help with getting the canopy in place. Two people helps with subsequent risings and flowerings as one can hold the legs (especially if it's a little windy) while the other puts them up/down. It goes easily into the bag with the canopy on and there's plenty of room to allow for the canopy in the bag without being sloppy so the canopy doesn't wobble in the bag. Tip: Don't lay the bag flat when placing the canopy in the bag or taking it out. Stand it up and pull the canopy out from the top. You won't get the canopy top dirty from it laying on the ground and it's much easier to handle this way. I can't comment on the sidewalls much as I only had one of them up to block out the sun, but getting them folded is much easier with 2 people and getting them stuffed back into the bag can be a challenge.
    Pros:
Goes up and down easily; Canopy doesn't have to be removed each time; Manageable by one person.
    Cons:
Spotty documentation included. You have to watch the video on this site to understand the best way to put the canopy up.

Last year i borrowed a canopy tent for the summer trade shows. This year i decided to purchase my own. I found this website and was impressed with selection and price. I called to ask questions and the staff was very helpful - expanding my confidence in the company. I purchased this one and it was delivered promptly. Unfortunately, there were no instructions included on how to put it up - frustrating for a new canopy owner. But I reviewed the video online and figured it out and it was simple once you do it once or twice. The first vendor fair was a bad weather day - rained on and off all day. The side walls were invaluable! Kept everything dry.
    Pros:
Easy up and down (once you've done it) Very portable with rollers on the bag. Two height positions on the legs.
    Cons:
Instructions were lacking. I called the company and they said they would email the directions but they never did.

We have already purchased everything available for our canopy but the wall. We love our popup-shade, and everyone else that sees it loves it. We went camping with some friends two weeks ago and it started clouding up while we were all eating breakfast at our site. They asked if we needed any help to get ours down before the rain, we told them no so they all ran back to their sites to get theirs down. They came back a little later and were amazing that they looked up at our site and it was still up, looked back five minutes later and it was gone! They wanted to know all about it, what brand, where we bought it, etc. Love it, would definitely purchase again, we've had ours three years already still looks almost new. Thanks
    Pros:

Yesterday I received my order quite swiftly, thank you. I had bought one of your commercial UC-3 10X10 canopies a few years ago and have been very impressed with it's design. A very good investment, compared to the previous cheaper canopies I had used before, which made me want to be a return client. I had not even realized this was designed to be able replace the cross struts until I finally went to your web site for a replacement canopy, after a wind storm mishap at a job site that severely damaged 2 cross members and tore the cover up. Now I am even more impressed with your companies ethics. A subject quite dear to me in the way I run my business as well, but sadly lacking in most industry. Thanks for making such a well thought out product.
    Pros:
Easy to replace parts Great Customer Service Regal product design

    GREAT CANOPY

I have been doing art shows for nearly 40 years. I have bought so many canopies from so many companies. I know good and I know bad. This one is GREAT - I used it all of last year and am more than happy. It is sturdy, easy to put up and down. The best is the roof. It is coated with a reflective coating. I was afraid it would cut the sun light too much but it doesn't. It only blocks the heat. It also has vents in the top that really help but have not caused any leaking in the rain. You do have to choose whether to have them open or shut when you put the booth up, there is no way to alter that once the booth is up. They have an overhang so they will keep out most rain open . This brand is so far superior to the canopy sold this year in the warehouse that there is no comparison. If you need a quality booth this is the very best for the price."
    Pros:
Vented Top So Easy to Operate Good Looking Awesome Wheel Bag VALUE VALUE VALUE
