Your photos of Awntech retractables don't picture support poles at the extended end of the awning, but it looks like they are in the parts list. Does the awning have support poles or can it be fully open without any poles? If not, what holds it up?

There is an arm extending under the fabric that holds the awning out and must be installed.

For a manual crank-out, is the canopy itself 10 ft wide? Or, is the hardware including the canopy 10 ft wide? This is important for me because of where I am mounting the product. Thank you.

If you order a 10' awning, the actual awning will measure exactly 10'.
