How is it recommended to anchor a pop up canopy in windy conditions?
1 Answer
First and foremost, it is never recommended to use a pop up canopy in stormy or excessively windy conditions. If only light to moderate winds are expected, there are several ways to effectively anchor a canopy. If the canopy will be set up on soft ground, the best way to anchor the canopy will be to stake it at the legs or drive stakes near the base of each leg and tie back each corner with a rope or strap. Anchoring the ropes or straps higher up at the corners of the tent will have the greatest effectiveness. For hard surfaces, many manufacturers offer canvas strap on weight bags and weight plates that are designed to attach to the base of the canopy legs, adding the needed ballast. For more open environments where moderate winds might be encountered, it may be necessary to use 5 gallon buckets filled with sand, dirt, or water.

How can I get custom graphics added to my tent?
1 Answer
We cannot add custom graphics to a tent that has already been purchased, however we are happy to assist with putting together a graphics package on new product. For pop up canopies, we work with the Caravan and Vitabri brands to apply graphics, while Celina handles printing for large pole and frame tents. We have used these manufacturers for many years and have developed a solid business relationship with superior results. For additional information, please visit our
custom tent buying guide. If you already have your artwork that you would like to submit for a quote, our
custom graphics form will allow you to do so. Our dedicated graphics specialist will then return a quote and rendering promptly.

I'm looking for 10 x 10 pop up canopy that won't collapse in the rain. The last few I've had gather rain and the weight collapsed them.
1 Answer
The only real way to prevent this would be to purchase a waterproof canopy. The only waterproof canopies we offer are called Vitabri and can be found by searching that term or going here:
https://www.ecanopy.com/vit-v41010vt.html .

Need to house equipment on set. Ideally looking for some kind of easy to set up pop up tent but need it to be at least 9' high for clearance, and 20'x20'. Our back up option would be two tents with 9' of height clearance, one at 10'x'10' and one at 15'x7'.

Unfortunately, we do not offer a Pop up tent with a clearance height higher than 6'3".

I have owned 3 canopies over the past 4-5 years to use on my deck. Each one was advertised as water-resistant, but all of them pool water near the side and eventually stretch the material so the top sags. Is there a truly "rain canopy" available? I need a 10' x 10' straight leg in beige or forest green. Thank you.

I'm looking for a durable 10' x 10' canopy for use at farmers markets. I have been through 6 tents - each time the frame breaks at the joints where a hole has been drilled to accommodate a bolt for the joint. It weakens the aluminum frame and it breaks here. I am looking for one that is steel or heavy duty poly material that won't break at this joint.
1 Answer
Thank for your question. Please consider the Caravan Classic model canopy. It features a commercial grade steel frame. Caravan Classic 10 X 10 Canopy with Professional Top

We have a soccer game on a field where they ban all EZ Up tents and chairs that have stakes/legs which would poke holes in the ground. Do you sell any EZ Ups or canopies that have wide, flat supports?
1 Answer
You can purchase any pop up canopy on our site and purchase weight bags to go on the legs. Therefore, you will not have to stake anything into the ground. You would just set up the canopy on top of the ground and fill your weight bags with sand, dirt or gravel and attach them to the legs of the canopy to weight it down.

Are there any canopies that can be put up by one person and are waterproof?
1 Answer
The canopies offered by Vitabri are currently the only canopies certified as waterproof. However, the framework for these canopies is a bit heavier than standard, and may prove difficult for customers of moderate strength to setup on their own.

I am looking for a canopy to be used by my soccer team. It needs to be easy to set up right before a game. We play in the Pacific Northwest so it needs to be as rainproof as possible. Also, if it could withstand wind that would be great, Do you have any recommendations?
1 Answer
The only actually water proof canopy we have is the
Vitabri canopy.
Most other canopies are water resistant only. This means they will shed light rains but in heavy or sustained rains, they may start to leak, especially if water pools in the top of the canopy.
Most canopies are also susceptible to strong winds. One package I would recommend that is easy to set up is the
10 x 10 Craft Show Package Deal. This package comes with weight bags that can be strapped around the legs to add more weight to the canopy, thus adding more stability in the wind.

What is the best 12 X 12 canopy for the beach?
I need something that is very easy to put up, is sturdy and can withstand beach breezes.
1 Answer
The best one would be the
Caravan Monster as it has the toughest frame. However, if you are looking for a more economical solution, the
ShelterLogic Pro Series may be a better option for you.
However, please keep in mind that no pop up style canopies is to designed to withstand high winds. Make sure you stake it down well and use good judgement. If the winds get high enough to start blowing the canopy around, you will need to take it down to avoid wind damage.

This is a first time farmer's market for me here in Naples, Fl. The market is on hot blacktop, and my concern is heat. I will be setting up by myself. I'm a 5'1, lightweight person. I like the 600 denier, but am concerned of its weight compared to the lightweight. What are some other options?
1 Answer
The manufacturer does not recommend that 1 person sets up the canopies. They suggest 2 because of the weight and manipulating the frame during set up. The frame you choose will determine on how much you can lift with your legs. The Displayshade weighs 68 lbs, The Traveler is 58 lbs, Classic is 64 lbs, and Aluma is 49 lbs.

These two items are produced by different manufacturers. So, it is slightly difficult to estimate the answer to your question. However, a safe estimate would be three

I am looking for a canopy whose side height is somewhere close to 10 feet tall. Most everything I have been finding is 6'4 on the side. If you could either direct me to some canopies that have a taller side height, or give me an option to boost some of the standard canopies another 3 feet off the ground, that would be greatly appreciated.
1 Answer
We do not list any canopies or shelters with side clearance near ten feet. Customers in the past have found success with installing one of our semi-permanent shelters on pylons. However, that would involve nearly 4' pylons in your case and I'm afraid that would simply make any of our shelters far too unstable.
