Customer Q&A with Product Specialists
Freedom R.
from Escondido, Ca. asked:
What's the deal with the roof kit? Does it not come with a roof?
Yes, the shed includes the complete roof structure, consisting of truss rafters and the OSB roof sheathing that forms the roof deck, as shown in the parts list of the assembly manual. The final roof covering is not included. Shingles or metal roofing, drip edge, and roofing nails or screws must be purchased locally and installed over the sheathing. A ridge vent is optional and also sourced separately. Paint for the primed siding is not included either.
