I printed the product manual but the print is so small that I can't read it, much less follow the picture instructions. Is there any way that I can get a manual that is in larger print?

Your best bet will be to actually enlarge the print on your screen and then print. There are icons in the lower right hand corner to adjust the size of the image.

Can the center pipe of the roof of this Caravan 10 x 10 Alumashade canopy package deal be lowered down to the level of the 4 leg posts? I need to know if I can use it in a room with 8 foot high ceilings. I will just be using the frame without the canvas canopy top.
    2 Answers
Thank you for the inquiry. The center peak pole must be completely extended so the top will be tight on the frame and the material will not be sagging down through the top. The legs on the frame can be adjusted with the height but the top cannot.

You can buy weights that fit on the corners or you can fill water jugs and tie them to the feet.

You use weights to secure the tent. You can use a something as simple as a gallon jug filled with water at each corner or you can buy weights like these.

You can attach tent weight bags filled with sand or pea gravel to the tent poles. These weight bags are sold by eCanopy and other sites on the internet. Or you can make your own with plastic plumbing pipe filled with concrete and attached to the tent poles with bungee cords or adjustable straps. For additional stability, ( I live in tornado alley) attach a metal pole horizontally between each tent pole at the bottom.

What is the size of the aluminum frame poles of this Caravan 10x10 Alumashade canopy package deal and how many of the side walls have zippers?
    2 Answers
The outer leg is 1-1/4" in diameter with the inner leg that slides up into the outer leg only slightly smaller. All of the walls have zippers at the edge for zippering them together and one wall will have a middle zipper for entrance and exit.
Dawn H. - eCanopy Product Specialist
    on May 5, 2015
The Aluminum frame poles are 1 1/8". All of the side walls have zippers so you can hibernate your tent if the need arises. FYI, Its a good idea to erect the tent and zip all the side walls together before you stake and weight the tent into place. The first time we put ours up we staked the poles out just a bit too far and couldn't quite get everything zipped up. We re-positioned the stakes and all was well.

It does come with a roller bag, actually a quite sturdy bag. It works great and I highly recommend it. Also, the canopy itself works very well. it is compact and lighter weight (not light weight, but light-er to pick up). We also use an older painted steel frame canopy which is significantly heavier. A good deal.

Yes, there is a roller bag, it is zippered around the bottom & you place bag over tent, pull down then lift the bottom into it & zip it.l The bag seems to be more heavy duty than the previous ones. It looks like more of a canvas material than nylon.

How does this Caravan 10x10 Alumashade canopy package with 4 sidewalls differ from Caravan Aluma professional package?
    1 Answers
The Caravan Alumashade is a mid-grade aluminum frame weighing 60 pounds and is available with a white top only. The Caravan Aluma is a commercial grade aluminum frame. Because of the manufacturing process, you get a much stronger frame with a lesser weight of 49 pounds. The Aluma also offers a variety of top colors.

What is the top peak height? I have had tents before and during a rain storm the water collects on the top and collapses the tent. Will this happen to this design? How does this compare to the ShelterLogic professional grade tent?
    2 Answers
The top peak height is approximately 12 feet high. As with all pop-up style canopies, water is likely to collect in top during a rain storm. Pop up canopies are designed primarily to provide shade only. The ShelterLogic brand pop up canopies will have the same problem.

I can't give you an exact measurement, We compete in BBQ comps over night and have been rained on, this is the best canopy and easiest to use have seen. It has a high peak and water runs right off it! I would recommend this even for snow.

What is the size of the legs on this model? We also want to know the following: 1.On the walls, can you have a zipper in the middle of the wall and if so, can we have 3 walls with zippers in the center and also in the corners? 2. What is the weight of the canopy and also when in the bag? 3. Is there a discount for buying 3 canopies? If so how much? 4. What is meant by "slightly marked"?
    1 Answers
The walls in this package deal only come with one middle zipper wall. This canopy weighs 54 pounds in the box. There is no quantity discount for three canopies. Slightly marked refers to the pattern of the powder coated frame as opposed to the smooth texture of a non powder coated frame. The outer leg diameter of this canopy is 1-1/8".

What is the difference between the Display Shade, Alumashade and Traveler Canopy?
    1 Answers
All three of these models are good choices, but here are a few distinctions among them. First, the DisplayShade model is our bestseller. It has a lightweight steel frame, so it is heavier than the other two with a frame weight of about 48 lbs. The Traveler features the ability to collapse to a shorter size, so that it can fit in a standard car trunk. It is considered the lightest-duty of the three. This Alumashade is a good compromise, as it has a stronger frame than the Traveler but is lighter in weight (35 lbs frame weight) than the DisplayShade.

It is not what I expected from a "commerical" rated product
I have used a very old but very heavy weight EZ Up canopy tent for years. A month ago it was finally time to replace it so a friend recommended a Caravan tent. I went on line and the the on line copy indicated that the good folks at this store seemed to think that the "best selling - commercial grade" Caravan Alumashade would be a good replacement. I got it delivered in no time. The second time that I set the tent up at a Farmers Market and before I could get the tent weights installed, a very gentle puff of wind picked up the canopy and threw it 20 yards away, breaking two support ribs.
    ProsVery easy to set up.
ConsFar too light duty for weekly use at a Farmers Market.

    Worth every penny !!!
I bought the Caravan Alumashade 10x10 to use at festivals. It's worth every penny. It's convenient to haul around and set up and it's sturdy. I did a lot of research to weight it down properly and economically. The suspended weight appeared to be the best option for me. A gallon of water weighs just over 7lbs and most people suggested 25lbs at each corner. The frame where I hung them is angled, but the little bit of pitch didn't affect the way they hung since I used tie backs at each corner. I can still zip it all shut over top the curtains and leave it for the night with a little level of security.

Lightweight enough for me, stands up to weather conditions
I set up twice a week at the markets year round. This tent was purchased used. It has stood up to all kinds of weather, however I don't set up if it is really bad out. What I like most about this tent is that it is lightweight enough for me, especially with the pull pin technology making it easy for me to set up. I am a female over 60 and a bit arthritic.and in the process of purchasing a new one of the same model as someone else (not me) damaged the feet & top by improper actions. Frame takes a lot of weight as you can see by the photos.
ProsEasy set up, lightweight but strong
ConsAwful bag that falls apart with each use. Walls that should have been made 2" wider on each panel so that it actually can be zippered up. Why can't these companies just make stuff that works all the way around? Charge more, call it tent with better bag & walls.

    Excellent value but not perfect
I have a Trimline for multiple-day fairs and when rough weather is for expected. I bought the Caravan for one-day shows and farmers markets, having had a very bad experience with E-Z-Ups. The Caravan is sturdy and easy to put up and take down, the most important attributes, but the sides are too tight to attach on all four sides, and the carrying case got a small tear the first time I used it. That being said, I would buy it again.

    MORE CANOPY FOR LESS MONEY!
This replaced a previous canopy for our business that lasted just one use; wind blew it over, its metal frame bent in all directions, and it went to the dump. This one is sturdier, easier to put up, and more wind-resistant. When it did blow over due to an anchor coming undone, we just tipped it back up, re-anchored, and all was well. We looked at a lot of canopies before buying this one, and we're very happy!
ProsSturdy construction, ease of set-up, overall quality finish and appearance.
ConsSide panels could be a bit heavier, and they are somewhat difficult to attach in windy conditions.

    Alumashade
I really liked the ease of use with this tent. 2 things I don't like are the way the sides attach to the top of the canopy, I mistakenly thought they zipped together but thats only the vertical walls. The other is it's hard to manuever on grass or gravel when its fully packed. I think a more solid bottom would be better. But i would buy it again.

    I like so far
I just received my shade and set it up. There were no instructions included so I had to go to the mfgr's website for those but once those were in hand, it went up fairly easily. It's a nice canopy and the little details are addressed. Everything fit into the case easily too. I'm very happy with it and so far, I would buy this again.

    10 x 10 Alumashade Canopy Package
Great Tent. We use it for cross country meets and it has to survive teenagers setting it up and taking it down. This is also a easy tent to transport due to the lighter weight.
