Yes, the 10 x 10 Classic frame will fit the same top as the 10 x 10 Displayshade frame.

Sturdy!
I was relieved to find out that my new sturdy STEEL frame was easy to put up. My husband can carry it on his shoulder, which also is a benefit, so I can concentrate on rolling the rest of the supplies on my cart. It is easy for two people to put up. Once we put up the canopy, though, we realized you should wait to raise the frame up to the height you want, until after you have put on the canopy, otherwise you won't be able to reach.
Overall, I'm pleased. I really am pleased with how STURDY it all is!
