Do the sidewalls Velcro to the top?
The sidewalls attach to frame with Velcro loops, and they zip together for a full enclosure. They do not velcro at the top.

How well does this canopy stand up to strong wind gusts?
While it is not wind rated it is a very sturdy canopy that can sustain heavy winds. Like all canopies it is not meant to be left up in inclement weather, however.

Can you please tell me what the difference is between Poly-Taft walls and 500 poly? Thank you. Also, can you tell me if this is a waterproof tent (like for outdoor craft-show weekends)? Thank you.
This canopy is not waterproof. The only waterproof canopies we offer are the Vitabri brand. The difference between polytaft and the 500 denier poly is the 500 denier is straight polyester and a thicker, more sturdy fabric. The polytaft is polyethylene and taffeta, and the poly is straight polyester.
