Can this tent be put up easily? Also, can it be put up without having to drive it into the ground? I would like to place it on my porch.

The Mt. Liberty Family Dome Camping Tent - 9 X 7 is a free standing easy to set up camping tent. You would need to add weight inside the corners to add stability if you cannot stake it down.

    Cheap Base Material
As a whole, I like this tent. However, the base of the tent seems to be made out of cheap material so it isn't sturdy or reliable. Also, the zipper on the front door is pretty fragile.

Be Sure to Seal It First!
Good price on this tent. Easy to assemble Stays sturdy in the wind. I had sealed the rain fly but not the tent itself. Should have, because after a few hours of rain, it started to leak at the seams. Other negativeszipper tends to snag, and the tent collects condensation. If you seal the tent completely first and waterproof it, then you should be fine using this tent.

    Comfortable and Recommended
When I go camping, I want to be as comfortable as possible! So if youre looking for comfort, I recommend this tent. Great quality for the price; nice and compact for easy transportation; fly does its job; not hard to set up at all. Be sure to seal the seams in case of rain, and you should be all right!

    Casual Camping
I guess youd call me a casual camper. I like low-stress, low-maintenance camping, so I really like this tent! Its comfy, easy to assemble, light, sturdy. Recommended for weekend beach or fishing trips. Great quality for the money!

    A Hit with Our Daughter
Our daughter plays with this tent inside. She and her four friends have a great time messing around with it and imagining all kinds of adventures day after day. Well ventilated, light weight, easy to transport. We can set it up in five minutes or so. Comfortable, fun little tent!

    Good Starter Tent
Im just getting started as a tent camper, so I dont know much about it all, but I like this tent and would recommend it to others. You could use it for beach camping or car campingor just out in the backyard. Again, Im no pro, but I put it together easily, and it seems sturdy and comfortable.

    Perfect
I do lots of camping and would classify myself as an outdoor professional. (Not bragging, it is what it is.) I like this tent a lot. Its waterproof, has a nice design, and is easy to assemble and disassemble. Ive even set it up in the dark a couple times. Waterproof floor is easy to clean. Fits a queen-size air mattress in it plus two people plus my cooler and luggage, backpacks, etc. I think youll like it.

    Recommended
Id recommend this tent to those who are looking for a windproof tent thats easy to set up and economically priced. Im not sure whether you could really sleep three people in it. I shared it with my dog and my gear, and we pretty much filled it up. Be sure to use tent sealer on it in case youre caught in a stormjust to be double sure its waterproof. Even at that, because its pretty small, things like your air mattress are likely to touch the sides, causing water to come in. If you can avoid that, it should be absolutely fine for you!

    Stayed Dry in the Rain
We only camped in this one night, but it was a rainy night and we were really happy that we stayed nice and dry inside. We didnt sleep three in it, only two on a queen mattress, and it worked quite nicely for that. Easy set up, fly works great, not heavy. Recommended!

    Christmas Gift
Im all about bargain shopping, and I was really pleasantly surprised at the quality of this tent compared to the price. Its sturdy and easy to set up. Actually, I didnt buy it for my own use but for my sister and her husband, and we set it up in their house on Christmas Day. Kids were climbing in and out of it all day, having a great time. Looks like it will last them for years. And when we were through with it, we got it back into the carrying bag, no prob. Seems durable, and it sure was affordable!

    Roomy
You get lots of room in this snug little tent! Youll be surprised! Its light and easy to carry, easy to set up, great for backyard camping or backpacking. I did have some trouble with the zipper snagging. Tip: Youll want to be on some soft ground in order to stake down the side flies. Earlier version of this tent had smaller side screens, which I liked a little better. But, again, you get plenty of square feet inside this model.

    Happy Grandkids, Happy Grandma!
I cant comment on how well this tent holds up outside in the wind and rain, but its held up great in my family room when the grandkids come over to play. They love it so much, they asked me to buy them one for their home too! So, yes, Id recommend it as long as you understand that weve never used it in the great outdoors. Keeps kids occupied with something more fun and worthwhile than TV and video games!

    We Like This Three-Person Tent
We really like this three-person tent, although were not hard-core campers by any stretch of the imagination. Our kids put it up in the rec room and slept in it for several nights. They had a blast! We like the fact that its light to carry and easy to set up. My kids didnt wreck it, so Id say its sturdy too! I recommend it, if this is the type of tent youre looking for.
