Used It Once, Liked It

Got to take my new tent out camping for the first time a week ago. Plenty of room for me and my stuff. I stayed warm. I liked the fact that it gave me privacy as well. Pleased with my purchase!

Good If Your Husband Carries It

My husband and I like this tent, but we discovered that it weighs one pound more than the advertised weight. (It weighs seven-and-a-half pounds, not six-and-a-half pounds.) To some people this might not be a big deal, but if youÔÇÖre backpacking, an extra pound can feel pretty heavy after a few miles! Or you can do what I didÔÇöhave your husband carry it. :) So you should know that before you order it.

Rainy Four-Day Trip, Worked Well!

This tent arrived quickly in the mail after I ordered it. Good quality, good price. I left shortly after that on a four-day trip. Initially had some trouble setting up the flyÔÇöI hadnÔÇÖt seen one designed quite like this before. But got it set up and everything worked greatÔÇöeven though it rained two of the four nights I was out. DidnÔÇÖt leak at allÔÇöwaterproof and well designed! IÔÇÖm a big guyÔÇöover six feet tallÔÇöand found it roomy enough for me and my gear.

Better than Pictured

I was really pleasantly surprised when I received this tent because it looked so much better than it was pictured online. Its colors are olive and green, so it blends in nicely when youÔÇÖre out in the woods. The colors donÔÇÖt clash like colors do on a lot of tents you see. I like the circular rain fly, which allows you to get into the tent from either side. The tent is also roomier than it might appear in the picturesÔÇöfive feet by eight feet inside. I camp by myself, and I found it quite roomy, although it would probably be too cramped for two people. Sturdy construction, good tent! Although it may be a bit bulky and heavy if you plan to go on a long backpacking hike.

24, Not 17 Inches

I canÔÇÖt say how sturdy this tent is because I never used it. And I never used it because after I got it I discovered it compresses down not to 17 inches, as advertised, but 24. ThatÔÇÖs a significant difference, and I couldnÔÇÖt get it in my pack. So thatÔÇÖs why I sent it back without using it.
