It takes about 4 hours with one helper. I modified mine to have 10' legs to accommodate storage of a class A motor home.

How do these hold up in a snow state like Minnesota?
    1 Answers
Per the manufacturer, the legs are 20 gauge steel. Regarding the top, the life expectancy varies from area to area depending on weather conditions, etc. The warranty is one year and covers manufacturing defects only. We do not show a snow/wind rating on this unit. Please use the link below to view one of or ShelterTube carports that you might be interested in. Item description says ten 10 gauge legs...features says 10 legs (20 gauge)...which is it? Is it possible to buy this canopy with 2" frame? Do you offer a better quality, longer lasting covering? I see some canopies advertising 10 year life expectancy...just wondering.

    Plastic Tops
The plastic tarps used on the top won't last a year. I've had good luck with the sides and ends, but the wind and sun ruins my tops yearly. The snow will not slide off. I need a long roof scraper to remove it periodically.

    Follow the directions
I can't stress enough how important following the directions are for this. We just had a sub tropical storm blow through and the only problem with the canopy was on one corner that wasn't anchored. It withstood 65 mph winds! You can really save extra time by getting it right the first time.

    Great Value!
I was really pleased with how easy this was to set up! I think this provides great value. I did notice some rust forming on the tubes and connectors wherever there was no powder coat or where the powder coat was scratched. I have some spray that will help keep that problem at bay. I needed to get some anchors and rope to keep it secure, but I think this will have great longevity.
