The Little Cottage Co. 12 x 14 Foot Value Workshop Shed - Precut Kit is a sweet spot for stashing all your gear. This USA-made workshop boasts a sturdy 2x4 build, giving it a robust feel that's ready for anything. Its classic gable roof, topped with tough OSB sheeting, looks sharp and does a great job shedding rain. The cool LP SmartSide siding not only looks good but also stands up strong against rot and bugs, keeping your shed looking nice for ages. Everything comes pre-cut and clearly labeled, making assembly a breeze, so you can get to organizing your tools and outdoor stuff in no time. Plus, you can totally make it your own by adding your favorite paint and shingles. The pre-assembled double doors swing open easily and have a trusty metal latch to keep things secure. It's a fantastic, no-fuss way to get some serious storage and a good-looking addition to your yard.
Please Note:
This is the workshop kit only. No flooring or finishing materials are included.
Optional accessories shown in the photos (cupolas, weather vanes, window/flower boxes, shutters) are not included and are sold separately. Roofing shingles are also not included — they are locally sourced.
Customer Q&A with Product Specialists
Ratan S.
from asked:
Do we need to get a permit from the city to build this shed?
Permit requirements for sheds are set by your local city or county, so the answer depends on your location. Please check with your local building or code enforcement office before you build. They can tell you whether a permit is required for a structure of this size and whether zoning rules limit its placement, height, or distance from property lines. Have the 12 x 14 foot dimensions ready when you call. If you live in a community with a homeowners association, check its shed guidelines as well. Our Wood Sheds Buyers Guide has more information on permits and planning.

David M.
from Las Vegas, Nv asked:
How is the shed shipped? Is a forklift required for unloading? If a forklift is needed, is it provided by the trucking company?
The Little Cottage Co. 12 x 14 Foot Value Workshop Shed ships via freight due to its size and weight of 1430 lbs. The delivery service is Curbside Delivery, meaning the shipment will be delivered to the curb at the end of your driveway. This service does not include inside delivery, unloading, unpacking, setup, or installation. A liftgate service is available for offloading the shed from the truck and can be added at checkout for an additional fee of $75. This service would be part of the trucking company's provision.
