Here's a neat backyard building option from Little Cottage Co. that's pretty straightforward to put together. This precut kit comes with all the bits and pieces you'll need to build a handy 12 x 16 classic gambrel barn with 6-foot sidewalls. Everything is already cut to the right size and angle for you, saving you some serious time and effort on your project. The walls feature sturdy 7/16" LP Smartside and the roof uses 7/16" OSB sheeting, with wall studs spaced 16 inches apart for good support. Plus, it's built tough in the USA and has cool, authentic-looking grooves spaced 4 inches apart. It's a fantastic choice for keeping your tools organized, storing outdoor gear, or even setting up a cozy spot for your gardening projects. Just a heads-up, the shed floor is a separate option you can grab if you need it.
Please Note:
Little Cottage Co. panelized kits are shipped nationwide via common carrier. When your shipment is expected to be delivered via common carrier, you will be required to have 2 people there to help unload. Your shipment will arrive on a pallet (number of pallets will vary with size of building). The truck driver will help remove the bands and wrapping on the pallet, the 2 people will then be required to unload each panel piece by piece from the truck.
Optional accessories shown in the photos (cupolas, weather vanes, window/flower boxes, shutters) are not included and are sold separately. Roofing shingles are also not included — they are locally sourced.
Also Note: This shed requires full assembly. While all components will be cut to the correct length and angle, no sections will arrive pre-assembled. Note that the manual on this page is an example only and shows construction of a panelized version of this building.
