The Little Cottage Co. 8 x 10 Classic Gambrel Barn with 6 Foot Sidewall Precut Kit gives you a fantastic way to build your own sturdy outdoor structure. This kit is thoughtfully put together in the USA, using quality materials like 7/16" LP Smartside and 7/16" OSB roof sheeting. You'll find the wall studs are spaced nicely at 16" on center, and all the necessary materials are included to get your barn fully assembled. The design really shines with its architecturally correct 4" on center grooves, and all the lumber is already cut precisely to the length and angle you'll need, making building a breeze. It's a great option if you're looking for a place to keep your tools, store items outside, or even set up a charming potting shed. You can grab an optional shed floor separately if that's something you'd like to add on.
Please Note:
Little Cottage Co. panelized kits are shipped nationwide via common carrier. When your shipment is expected to be delivered via common carrier, you will be required to have 2 people there to help unload. Your shipment will arrive on a pallet (number of pallets will vary with size of building). The truck driver will help remove the bands and wrapping on the pallet, the 2 people will then be required to unload each panel piece by piece from the truck.
Optional accessories shown in the photos (cupolas, weather vanes, window/flower boxes, shutters) are not included and are sold separately. Roofing shingles are also not included — they are locally sourced.
Also Note: This shed requires full assembly. While all components will be cut to the correct length and angle, no sections will arrive pre-assembled. Note that the manual on this page is an example only and shows construction of a panelized version of this building.
