Please Note: Little Cottage Co. panelized kits are shipped nationwide via common carrier. When your shipment is expected to be delivered via common carrier, you will be required to have 2 people there to help unload. Your shipment will arrive on a pallet (number of pallets will vary with size of building). The truck driver will help remove the bands and wrapping on the pallet, the 2 people will then be required to unload each panel piece by piece from the truck.

Also Note: This shed requires full assembly. While all components will be cut to the correct length and angle, no sections will arrive pre-assembled. Note that the manual on this page is an example only and shows construction of a panelized version of this building.

Great Shed

Overall this shed is just what I was looking for. There are a couple omissions in the instructions which had me guessing what to do. And a couple of pieces weren't quite the right size. Both were easy to deal with. I will admit I added some additional bracing, Glued everything with construction adhesive and used 3" screws instead of nails in all the critical areas. It went together and came out beautifully. Very pleased with the results.

Pros

The pre-cut pieces were very accurate. Instructions were easy to follow. Everything was included in the kit that is needed. Everything fit together beautifully and came out very square. Of course I was very careful with every step.

Cons

Instructions missing some important steps. Siding was too long and needed to be trimmed. ( no big deal ) I think if they added a couple of pieces of bracing, like 2 x 4's between the roof gables, it would be a little sturdier. And screwing some of the pieces together is a definite plus.
