Can this system be used with (2) adjoining 10x10 popups so that there is misting on the sides and fronts of the 2 popups?

The manufacturer states that if you put the canopies side by side that this will work. The mist line provided is 40 feet to go around 4 sides of the 10x10 tent so should be able to cover the front of two canopies and most of one side of each.

Can this tent be hooked up to a hose or does it need a tank to go with it?

This is the mid-pressure system which must be used with the pump included which must be plugged in, but no tank is required. If you are looking for a "hose only" model, you would need to check out the MistCooling 10' x 10' Low-Pressure Misting Tent
