Does your bracket kit accommodate 5 1/4 inch wide PSL beams for supporting solar panels?
The Outsunny 12 Piece DIY Pergola Kit brackets are designed for nominal 4x4 lumber, with an actual opening of 3.6 inches by 3.6 inches. Therefore, a 5 1/4 inch wide PSL beam will not fit these brackets. We do not currently offer a bracket kit sized for beams of that width. Additionally, the load rating for these brackets in relation to supporting solar panels has not been published. Structures supporting solar arrays must account for dead load, wind uplift, and potential snow load, so we strongly recommend consulting a licensed structural engineer or your solar installer for proper connection specifications.
