This 4 ft. awning features a 6 in. decorative valance with a straight edge, and is mildew resistant, as well as UV and fade resistant, and cleans very easily. This awning also blocks up 77 percent of the sun's heat, and installs easily with all the necessary parts included. This awning comes with a 3 year limited warranty.

Will this work in rainy winters?
While this awning will certainly provide protection from rain, the manufacturer does recommend removing it in extremely cold weather conditions, as these can shorten the life of the awning.
