How high above the door jam should I hang the door canopy? Should the bottom of the canopy be flush with the top of the door jam?
Per the manual: Using a level held against the head rod, verify that the canopy assembly is level & centered over door or opening. Also, check that when the arms are pulled down (provide a slight amount of tension) have a suitable mounting location and does not interfere with door operation or any nearby objects. Adjust if necessary. Hopefully, this explains where it is to be placed! It is a matter of aesthetics and utility.
