I need about 9'-10" at the center of the door opening to clear the air conditioner on my camper. Can this be possible without using the door?
    1 Answer
The door opening height for this unit is 9' 4", so it appears this will work judging from the measurements you provided.

What is the shape and spacing of the metal ribs for this structure and what gauge of steel is used? Also, what is the wind rating for this structure?
    1 Answer
This unit uses 22 - sturdy 2 3/8" diameter steel frame. The length is 24' long and there are 11 poles on each side so they are roughly 2' apart. The ribs are in 2 long parts with connectors. ShelterLogic does not have a wind rating on this unit.

What kind of a snow load are these shelters rated? I have a 22' travel camper and live in New Hampshire. It's fairly protected, so wind is not a major issue.
    1 Answer
ShelterLogic, the manufacturer, does not provide a snow load rating for these canopies because they are not permanent engineered structures.

I would recommend this item to a friend.
    Alignment problems
Overall GOOD quality. Several holes (3) not aligned for bolts required major drilling of extra holes to bolt the frame together, Also, the inside diameter of all tubes had burrs that caused frame to not align or go together easily. It required a Dremel tool/file to sand off burrs inside of the tubing. This added several hours to the construction time. A little disappointing.
Well-written instructions, good material for the cover, good paint on large-diameter tubing. Hole alignment and interior tube finish (burrs) somewhat lacking. Would like to see the recommended number of anchors in the kit.
