I just received my 3rd replacement roof for my Patio Mate 17.1 by 8.6 enclosure. Should these roofs be treated with anything like a rainguard or slicone based product to prolong their life and prevent rips and tears? Also, my husband will be replacing all the screening. Any hints/tips/suggestions for ease of installation in doing so? Do the panels need to be taken off to replace the screens?
1 Answer
I recommend contacting Patio-Mate directly as we do not offer the replacement tops or screen panels for these enclosures and would not be able to provide any guidance for replacing the screening material. I would like to note that the tops are pre-treated to prevent mold and mildew and should not require any additional treatment. Actually, adding additional treatment may void the warranty so I would not suggest doing this.
