The sail is made from a durable 230 GSM breathable polyethylene fabric so it is not exactly the same as the covers. The manufacturer advises that the fabric blocks 90% of harmful UVA and UVB rays but it does not have a rating.

Likely in an installation such as yours, you will want to have poles driven into the ground, and using the installation kit available with these sails, hold them to the poles.
