This item does not have a wind rating. The rain will pass through - water will not collect or pool.

There are a number of options to take in consideration for installing a Shade Sail. The Product Manual covers all of the possible scenarios.Basically, you will need to ensure all fixing points are structurally sound and if uncertain, obtain independent advice from a technician or engineer. A fixing height of at least 8 ft. is recommended.

How do you attach to siding to shade over a sliding door ?
In order to anchor the sail properly, you will need to use the supplied eye bolts and anchors or purchase a pair of lag screws with hooked ends. It is important to locate a suitable framing member in the wall to secure the lag screws, as they will likely pull out of the wall material otherwise.
