Great for shade!
Love this thing - it's the third one I have bought. I got the smaller triangular ones because they don't catch as much air when the wind is blowing so there is less chance of it ripping out the bolts from my fascia boards. However, with the smaller ones I needed three of them to throw enough shade on the side of my house to impact my A/C bill - and it has made a difference.
It is well made with big sturdy rings in each of the corners. The mounting hardware is good. My only suggestion is to use a zip tie to keep the turnbuckle hook attached to the corner rings when the wind is making the shade flap around.
Pros
Opaque enough to cast a good shadow.
Lets light thru so I don't feel like I am in a cave.
Good mounting hardware.
Cons
Challenging to mount securely for gusting winds - but that is not the fault of this product - just the laws of physics at work.
