Sue from Boise Idaho asked:
Would this sail allow enough sunlight to let our tomato plants grow? Need to block the heat to keep the flowers from falling off the plants when the weather gets extreme and hits the triple digits for days on end. Thanks for your time!

Not being too much of a green thumb myself, I am unsure as to how these would affect the growth of your tomato plants. The shades themselves block almost 100% of UVA and UVB. The shade may need to be taken down for periods of time allowing the plants to get sunlight, but then when the temperatures rise, the shade could be hung back in to place with minimal effort.
