I would recommend this item to a friend.
F350 Truck Canopy
Easy to install if you prepared your base correctly. Need two individuals to assemble.
Tip 1. Put down 2x8 treated boards the size of your unit and square off. Make sure the ground is level.
Tip 2. Lay out all the parts including the hardware. Identify all the parts. Makes assembly easier and saves time especially if you assembly the wrong parts!
Tip 3. Assemble the entire frame including the bottom supports. This will ensure the poles are evenly spaced and make squaring the unit easier.
Tip 4. Buy 2 inch carriage bots to replace the 1.5 inch carriage bolts for the bottom supports. The supplied 1.5 carriage bolts are to short.
Once the frame is assembled and squared off attached the the legs to the 2x8 treated boards with appropriate hardware purchased separately. #14 x 1.5" screws with washers. Anchor the front and middle of frame with supplied hardware.
Doors go on and then the main canopy. Depending on size may need 3 individuals.
Bottom support poles get slid into the bottom of the main canopy. You may have to make adjustments to the openings to attach the brackets. The canopy has slits cut into it to attach the bottom poles to the brackets but they may not all line up.
Tip 5. Buy the door roll up kit if you can't make your own system.
ProsEasy to assemble if you have 2 or more individuals. Appears well made. My first northern winter will tell the tale. Price is right.
ConsShould include the door roll up kit. The 1.5 inch screws are to short for the bottom supports. Need 2 inch screws. Instructions need some refinement. Some of the bottom support brackets don't line up with the slits on the canopy .
