    Will the roof support a foot or more of snow? Can the screens be interchanged with windows?

    It would not support that much snow, and no the screens are not interchangeable.

        Do I need to take it down in the wintertime or the strong wind?

    It is neither wind or snow rated. It should be fine in the wind but should likely come down in heavy snows.
