I need to get the wind design loads of the shelterloginc 12x24x10 so I can submit to the county for permitting. Where can I find this?
    1 Answer
This item does not have a wind rating. Per Shelter Logic "Because all of our products are not engineered buildings they CAN NOT be wind rated. Anchoring the shelter securely is critical to wind resistance. If extremely high winds or storms are predicted the structure can be dismantled and stored. However we do offer custom Pre Engineered Structures that carry a wind rating when properly anchored."

I have a steel ocean container 8 x 20 x 8' 6". I keep my snowmobiles in it and would like to have a canopy in front so that in the wintertime (in Park City, Utah) I can open the doors to the container when there is like 6' of snow on the ground. What is the best style canopy for heavy snow and what is the smallest size that would cover the entrance to the steel storage container?
    1 Answer
Likely, the best product for your needs will be a run-in shelter, such as this item. The minimal overhang of the canvas would allow you to place the back of the shelter over the opening of the container, whereas many of the enclosed end shelters would not. It is also long enough that snow should not be able to accumulate against the front of the container, unless the wind is blowing directly into the front.

    Great
Got a 12 x 24 for my bass boat. took me all week to set up. mostly by myself and occasionally with my wifes help. You could set it up in less than a day with 3 people. It's actually super easy to set up. You will need a ladder and what not so keep that in mind. My boat is only 8.5' wide with trailer but with the front flaps it just squeaks in. Make sure you get one wide enough. I got one with the cheaper covering which seems like a super extra heavy duty tarp like material. I would probably want a different material if I were in another state that had more intense sun.
    Proseasy to set up.
Consset up directions kind of suck but they're not as bad as Ikea directions. Screw anchors are long. if you have rock or hardpan soil you will have a very very hard time getting them in. This is the main reason it took me so long to install. could only do one per day as it was painful how hard I had to pry with a bar to get them to screw in through the rocky soil.

The Parts Were All There :)
    - It is easy enough for two people to install, if you have the right 2 people. - Good grade of materials.
ProsThe materials, such a metal bars, bolts, and canopy, seem to be rugged enough to hold up.
ConsConstructive Criticism: 1. The instruction for installing the lower side rails was not clear. Being that I have an Engineering degree, I finally figured it out. 2. The zippered sides are not as they appear in the selling picture. It has 2 zippers on each side for access, but no way to keep the flaps out of your way while driving out. 3. Our first windy day, I had to tie a rope through the zipper and anchor to the auger anchor to keep the wind from unzipping the opening.

Excellent structure quality and ease of setup for the money
The structure went up in four hours with two first-timers working at it. The directions were straight forward, we didn't have too many questions that couldn't be figured out by close inspection of the materials and paperwork. The materials themselves are very durable. We even received a bit of extra hardware. No pieces were missing. The only minor point was a bit of "rippage" to the end walls when I tightened down on the webbing. This did not run though and I think it'll still hold up just fine. In short, for a temporary structure, this is one great product. It easily fit my F-250 (needed to get into the bed to reach parts of the structure for assembly). My Sea Ray 185 sport with wake tower fits like a glove. A smaller size would not have worked. It does get warm inside under full sun without the doors open so beware. Overall, very satisfied.
ProsEase of assembly. Durable materials. Great looking. Easy to get into. Fits the bill perfectly for temporary storage.
ConsTakes some jimmying to get the covers to fit just right. The ground stakes are a beast to drive in! Hot inside.

    Excellent Building
Overall, a great building, easy to assemble. Instructions are poor, had to download better instructions from the web. Purchased door roll-up kits for the door and they don't work on round top structures as designed. Had to roll up on outside of building because of tapered inside walls, otherwise, Id be giving 5 stars overall.
