I believe I have an 8x8 shelter logic that needs to be replaced. I have lost the old one so I'm not sure if it is an 8x8. I measured from the top corner to corner fully extended. It measured to be 8 ft. Not at the bottom of the legs. Is that the correct way to measure?

The 12 x 20 SuperMax canopy by ShelterLogic, featured here, uses short pins (1/4" x 2 1/4") and long pins (1/4" x 2 7/8") to hold the frame poles together.
