Will this canopy leak water at the seams? Those I have now do and are of no value when it rains. Or, can you recommend a 12' x 12' that is waterproof?
    1 Answers
Most pop up canopies are not water proof. The only brand that we carry is this one.

I bought this canopy in navy blue and need 4 sidewalls for it. I do not want mesh or white walls - do you have blue walls that I can purchase for my canopy?

Is it okay to use deep fat fryers under this tent?
    1 Answers
It would depend on the size of the fryer. The tent is flame resistant but would be damaged, if not burned, if hot grease splashes on it.

We purchased this item last weekend, but we had rain and it puddled on each section instead of running off. Are we missing any pieces?
    1 Answers
These are not designed to protect against rain. They are only temporary shade canopies and are not waterproof.

I received the canopy very quickly and set up was very easy; it seems to be stable in light winds.

    Raining in Seattle
We do outdoor events in the Pacific NW all summer long. You never know if it will be 90 degree sun or liquid sun. Our new canopy will serve us well for both. Looks great, matches our booth and a great price. Could not be more thrilled.
ProsGreat for different Pacific NW weather. Looks great and at a great price.
    ConsNone.

    12x12 weekender
This was bought as a birthday gift for my parents. My husband and I have a 10x10 and my parents used it over the summer at their camp and fell in love with it. I purchased the same brand as ours, but upgraded them to a bigger size.
ProsComes with a carry case with wheels.

    Easy to assemble
This is our 2nd easy up canopy, the first lasted about 10 years. They are very easy to put up and take down. We ordered this one after my son left it up while canoeing and it got caught by heavy winds. We were going camping about 10 days later and got it in plenty of time.

    Easy to set up
We purchased this canopy to replace another QuikShade that we have used for about ten years. The first time we used it, we kept it up for two weeks in our back yard.
ProsThe canopy is much easier to set up than our old one. If you are careful and only pull it out a small amount at a time, one person can set this up and tear it down. The locking mechanism is spring loaded, so when you extend a leg or frame piece, it will automatically seat itself. The canopy is attached to the frame with simple Velcro pieces at each corner. Our old one had loops of Velcro, but this new design is easier to attach and seems to work fine. I would recommend this product with a provision that you handle it carefully.
ConsFirst impressions--it is much lighter weight than the other 12X12 we had. The feet are made of plastic, the anchor stakes are thin aluminum, and the locking mechanisms have more plastic than our previous one. Also, the canopy itself is thinner. It rained a few days we had it up, and, in order to stop water from pooling on the canopy, I stretched and clamped the canopy to the frame. This caused a few light tears--something that never happened to our old canopy. So, this canopy works for light duty only.

    Not easy
The materials for this easy up seem to be of high quality. My difficulty with it, however, is that I strained my back significantly in trying to push up the corners on the frame. I have had difficulty pushing these corners up several times in set up. It was anything but "easy."

Better than an umbrella at the beach!
We took the canopy to the shore and put it up for the first time. It took us less than 5 minutes to figure it out and put it up. It was great.
ProsIt had wheels and went up quickly.
ConsIt had wheels but the wheels didn't work in the sand.
